Forging press in Genshin Impact: how to start and create Arkhium Lumenite

In Genshin Impact The Forging Press is a huge mechanism located in one of the caves of Fontaine that allows the creation of the Arkhium Lumenite. To launch and use it, you will have to solve several puzzles and find a special ore. In this guide, we will tell you in detail how to turn on this device.

Where to find the Forging Press in Genshin Impact

The required mechanism is located underground in the Liffey District (north of Fontaine), not far from Seahorse of a thousand-year-old pearl. If you have not yet found this boss, then head to the entrance to the underwater cave located in the north of the above location. Swim into it and move forward along the water tunnel until you come out onto land next to the teleporter.

Now go around the ridge and go to the southeastern part of the arena. There you will find a body of water into which you need to dive and swim further until you get out onto land again. Activate another teleportation point and turn right at the fork.

Dive back into the water and go all the way to the end of the tunnel until you find yourself near a huge sealed door. To open it, you will first need to deal with the special mek: construction, and then interact with the terminal.

How to start a Forging Press

Go through the opened passage and you will find yourself in a spacious room with a forging press. On the box on the left there are instructions for using this complex mechanism - we advise you to study them carefully. However, you can simply follow our advice.

Insert the workpiece

First, go to the press located in the center of the room and place the previously mined Archium Blank in it. Let us remind you that it is issued automatically after collecting 7 mysterious ores. We talked in detail about where you can find it in separate material.

Set the pipe pressure within normal limits

Next, you will need to work on adjusting the pressure in three different pipes to make sure there are no leaks. The map below shows their approximate locations.

First trumpet

The first pipe is located in the eastern part of the room - plan to the lower platform and simply turn the valve until gas stops flowing from the pipe. The required position is shown in the picture below.

Second trumpet

It is located in the south of the room. However, here you will first need to find the Handwheel itself - it lies a little lower, not far from two opponents. Having taken out the valve, install it to the pipe and start turning it until the leak disappears (the desired position is shown in the picture below).

Third trumpet

She can be found in the western part of the room, not far from two meks. Deal with the enemies, and then turn the Handwheel to stop the gas leak.

How to create Arkhium Lumenite using a Forging Press

So, having installed the workpiece and made sure that the pipeline is working, go to the terminal next to the device and activate the power supply system. Then carefully watch the floating ore - when it is surrounded by a bright red ball of energy, immediately press the “Forge” button.

Error: System overheating

After 3-4 hits on the ore, an overheating error will suddenly appear. You will need to solve it to continue forging.

Reduce the temperature of the heat sink window

Everything here is quite simple - you need to go to the main machine and deal with all the Pyro slimes that have appeared here. Use Cryo or Hydro fighters for this for greater efficiency.

Activate the cooling system

To do this, jump to the very bottom of the room and look in its eastern part for a cobblestone with a blue crack, over which a Hydroculus flies. Destroy this stone with any type of attack so that the room will immediately fill with water. Return to the console and start hitting the ore again.

After just a couple of hits, a new problem will arise that you will need to solve as quickly as possible. Jump into the water and dive. Find the xenochrome stingray there and take away its ability (hit it with LMB). Then look for a jellyfish in the eastern part of the room, entangled in algae - cut them with an E-shank and take them jellyfish skill.

You will need a new skill to destroy the scarlet pranksters - launch bombs at them by holding down the "E" key, and then press "E" again to detonate the mine.

The first group of scarlet pranksters

Swim south from the jellyfish and you'll find the first group of plants here. Use the skill to place a bomb next to the farthest flower, and stand near the second bud. Detonate the mine and at the same moment destroy the second flower with a normal attack. Thus, you will deal with the scarlet prankster.

The second group of scarlet pranksters

It is located in the southwestern part of the location. Here you will find 3 buds at once. You just need to place a bomb between them and then detonate it to destroy all the flowers at once. At this point you will unlock the "The Red Meanies’ Revenge" achievement.

Now return to the console on the lower landing and activate the emergency drain to lower the water level. Interact with the main terminal again and start hitting the ore. After making a few more hits, watch the video with the room flooding.
