Genshin Impact 4.6 release date
HoYoverse usually releases updates every six weeks, so the next patch should be released soon April 24, 2024. It will be replaced version 4.7 approximately June 5th of this year.

The miHoYo team has already officially presented a new heroine for the game - she turned out to be the much-anticipated Harlequin. Insiders shared information about her abilities and rerans of other characters.
First phase banners
Informants suggest that in the first half of the patch in banners The following fighters will be represented:
- 5-star – Harlequin (Pyro, spear) and Nilou (Hydro, one-handed sword).
- 4-star – unknown yet.
Harlequin is the harbinger of Fatui and the head of the Hearth House orphanage. She played an important role in saving Fontaine, but in the future she may become a serious threat to the Hydro Kingdom. Thanks to her unique area of effect abilities, she can deal massive damage to multiple targets. It is best played through the Elemental Reaction: Overloaded reaction.
As for the weapon banner, you should expect the appearance of the signature weapon Harlequin (its name is unknown) and the one-handed sword Key of Khaj-Nisut.
Second phase banners
In the second half of the update (starts on May 15), the following fighters will most likely undergo reruns:
- 5-star – Alhaitham (Dendro, one-handed sword) and Furina (Hydro, one-handed sword).
- 4-star – unknown yet.
Several insiders reported about the rerun of these characters, but this information is still dubious, so it may well change in the future. In “Incarnation of a Deity” you will be able to obtain the one-handed swords Light of Foliar Incision and Splendor of Tranquil Waters, which are the signature weapons of al-Haitham and Furina, respectively.
Mondstadt: Blessing of the Chronicles
Informants suggest that this banner in patch 4.6 will be dedicated to Liyue, so we will see the following characters in it: Shenhe (Cryo, spear), Ganyu (Cryo, Onion), Hu Tao (Pyro, spear), Yelan (Hydro , Onion), Keqing (Electro, one-handed sword), Qiqi (Cryo, one-handed sword).
New locations
The leaks indicate that the developers will continue to expand Fontaine - this time a new location will be added in the south, which will be located between the Chenyu Valley and the Sumeru Desert. Its land part will be called Petrichor, and its underwater part will be called Remuria, since the latter contains the flooded kingdom of the same name.
The map above shows the approximate location of the new area. Of course, a lot of new activities, chests, puzzles and tasks will appear on it. Plus, here you can open a new dungeon with artifacts and find the world boss.
New weapons
So far, only one new weapon is known - we are talking about the signature polearm for Harlequin. Some note that it is dark red in color and has the shape of a braid. The weapon's attack power will be 674 units, and its secondary characteristic will be the chance of delivering critical hits, which can be increased to 22.1%.
New artifacts
In the above dungeon you can get two new sets of artifacts. Their names are still unknown. Insiders note that the first set is ideal for Harlequin, and the second one strengthens Dendro characters playing through Elemental Reaction: Burning. It is possible that it was created for Emilia.
New tasks
There is a small chance that a new Archon mission will be released involving Dainsleif. Similar story missions are released almost every year. The developers may also very well release a new chapter of the interim Thoma.
Legend Quests
Most likely, Harlequin will receive a personal quest, in which players can be shown her past. There are also rumors about the release of the next chapters of Furina and Sayono's personal chains.
World Quests
Naturally, the developers will add new side quests. Their events are likely to unfold in a new area.
