Honkai: Star Rail 2.6 Release Date
HoYoverse has returned to its previous patch length of 6 weeks, so the next version of the game will be released October 23, 2024 . If the developers do not change the schedule again, it will be replaced by update 2.7 (3.0) around December 4 of this year.
The client will be available for pre-download a few days before its release. The developers will likely carry out maintenance work, which can last up to five hours. Players are usually compensated with 300 Star Jades.
Honkai Live Streaming: Star Rail 2.6
The developers almost always hold special streams one and a half to two weeks before the release of the next update. They are usually organized on Friday- Sunday. The live broadcast for the current patch will be held October 11, 2024 at 14:30 Moscow time . As part of it, they will publish 3 promo codes for 300 star jades.
New banners and characters
The company has already officially unveiled one new character that will likely be released in patch 2.6, namely Rapp. Insiders have also published the characteristics and approximate time of appearance of this and other heroes.
Phase 1 Banners
In the first half of the patch during Jumps You will be able to get the following characters:
- 5-stars – Rappa (Erudition: Imaginary) and Acheron (Non-existence: Electric).
- 4-star – unknown.
Rappa calls herself a space ninja, although this description is not far from her true status as a Galactic Ranger. And like any noble ninja, Rappa has a main enemy - Osaru. It is unknown what brought her to Penakonia, but this fan of comics, rap and graffiti art has caused quite a stir.
The weapon banner will feature Rapa and Acheron signature weapons, titled "Inscription Ninjutsu: Dazzling Evil Destroyer" and "Along the Receding Shore," respectively.
Phase 2 Banners
In the second half of the patch (starts November 13), the following characters will be available during Jumps:
- 5-stars – Aventurine (Save: False) and Firefly (Destruction: Fiery).
- 4-star – unknown at this time.
It should be noted that this is only preliminary information that has not been confirmed, so it is likely to change in the future. It is possible that the developers will even introduce triple banners.
In the weapon banner, you will be able to get signature weapons of Aventurine and Firefly called "Unfair Fate" and "Where Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest".
Change map
It is currently unknown whether the developers plan to expand the game world with new locations. According to rumors, a new area will appear on Penakonia, where, in fact, the events of the new quest chain will take place. In this case, we will find a location with additional riddles, chests and secret assignments.
New tasks
Exploration Missions
Insiders note that patch 2.6 will feature a new story chapter related to Penakonia, and in its size it will significantly exceed the exploration mission "Farewell Penakonia" from version 2.3. Rappa will play a special role in it. It is possible that players will also meet Sunday again.
New Light Cones

Boss
At the moment, it is known that in patch 2.6 there will be one new boss named Wonder Forest's Banacademic Office Staff. Most likely, you will be able to meet him in Penakonia. He is vulnerable to fire, ice, electricity and imaginary attacks. There is no other information about him.
New events
There is no information about events at the moment. Most likely, the main event will take place in Penakonia and will also be connected with Rappa.
