Where to find ancient geovishap
You can find it in a small cave located east of Tianqiu Valley. This is not a new area, so you must have been here before. The screenshots below demonstrate the descent into the crevice.

Attacks and abilities of the ancient geowishap
The main feature of this monster is the fact that it is multi-elemental. As soon as you start a fight with him, he will randomly choose one of the elements: Pyro, Electro or Cryo (his color will change, which will help you understand which element he has chosen). His attacks will deal the appropriate elemental damage.
Three-hit combo - the opponent uses a swing and slash, and then performs a crushing attack that has a large area of effect.
Rotation - the boss freezes for a while, charging the attack, and then begins to spin. Can be easily dodged.
Geowishap Breath - Periodically, the enemy will growl loudly, exhaling elemental flames in your direction.
Wormhole - the boss hides underground, and then rushes in your direction. Once next to you, the enemy jumps out of the ground and strikes at the area.
Stalagmites - The Geovishap will lie on its back and release a multitude of spikes that will land on the ground and then explode, dealing damage based on the previously consumed element.
Primal Flux - After a short charge, he uses a powerful AoE attack that deals high damage. You can reduce it by raising a crystal Noelle: Protector. The boss sometimes generates them, but we still advise using your own Geo heroes for this, for example, Noelle. Alternatively, you can simply heal your squad by using Qiqi or Barbara's abilities.
Choice of moves
It directly depends on where you are. If you get a long distance from the boss, trying to kill him with long-range weapons, then he will certainly use Stalagmites and Wormhole to get to you.
Once you get close to him and stand right in front of his face, he will try to attack you with his combos. Standing in the back, get ready to dodge the spin attack. As for other moves, he applies them randomly.
It's hard to predict exactly when an Primo Geovishap will cast Primal Flux, but you can easily tell when he tries to use it. He is also known to not hit with this attack when his health is low.
How to kill an ancient geowishap
Having assembled the team indicated above, you can take on the killing of the boss. Once again, it is extremely important to have a character that can create a Noelle: Protector. Suitable as a crystal Noelle: Protector, and created by skills. With it, you can protect yourself from the primal flow and return damage to the enemy.
After the start of the battle, try to attack the ancient geowishap from behind, being close to him. In this case, the boss will use fewer attacks, mostly spinning, which is fairly easy to dodge. You can get used to the rest of the movements in 2-3 minutes.
If you stand facing him, then you will have to constantly dodge combo attacks, and this is extremely difficult to do. Shields are not recommended for this, as you will need them to protect against more dangerous attacks.
A few dodge tips:
- Perform a double dash while spinning the boss. You can get by with a single jerk, then running a couple of meters if you saw the charge of the attack in advance.
- Combo attacks can be dodged by jumping towards the back legs of the boss. There, the front limbs of the monster will not reach you.
- When breathing, the boss shakes his head first to the right and then to the left. So you need to jump forward and to the right, and then go to the hind limbs.
- As soon as you see stalagmites, immediately run away from them as far as possible, as they cause significant damage.
As for the primordial current, just use your character's Geo-Shield or the Boss's Crystal Noelle: Protector.
