In Genshin Impact An Perpetual Mechanical Array is world boss Inazuma, which drops various materials needed to exalt the characters. In this guide, we will tell you where to find him, indicate the recommended commands and give tips on how to fight him.
How to find the Perpetual Mechanical Array
First way
If this will be your first boss fight, this method will be faster as you won't have to climb caves. First, get to the Araumi Valley, located on Narukami Island, and then go north to the anchorage. There, call Wavewalker and continue sailing up to Jinren Island.
When you reach the right place (shown in the screenshot above), interact with the thunder cherry branch, summon an Electrograna and pull to the thunder orbs above with the "T" key. At the top you will find a portal. Enter it, and you will immediately find yourself in front of the boss. He won't attack you until you get close and hit him.
Second way
It will be longer at first, as you will have to explore a rather large underground complex with several puzzles. The entrance there is in a dilapidated tower located in the Araumi valley. We have discussed this method in detail in separate guide.
Note that right next to the entrance to the arena with the boss, you can activate the teleport, that is, after turning it on, you can almost instantly get to this enemy. As a result, this method will be more preferable.

Best Options
The Infinite Mechanical Array does not have increased resistance to any elements, so we strongly recommend that you select characters that can cause powerful elemental reactions in your team. You should also equip the squad with a good healer and/or a hero who can cast shields.
First option:
- Main DPS: Diluc or Hu Tao
- Secondary DPS: Xingqiu
- Support: Bennett
- Support: Zhongli
Second option:
- Primary DPS: Kamisato Ayaka
- Secondary DPS: Xiangling
- Support: Rosaria or Diona
- Support: Bennett
These are not all examples of possible units. In fact, even damage dealers with Geo or physical damage are suitable for fighting this enemy - the main thing is that they deal massive damage.
Free option
- Primary DPS: Lisa
- Secondary DPS: Traveler (Electro)
- Support: Barbara
- Support: Noelle
If you don't have paid heroes or they are low level, nj can put together an Electro team that will be strengthened by Barbara (her Hydro attacks will trigger the Charged reaction). Noelle will give you the ability to create shields.
How to beat the Perpetual Mechanical Array
Battle Tips
Use food before the fight
Above, we already noted that the boss does not attack you immediately, so you can prepare to fight him by eating any dishes to increase the chance of critical hits, attack power and other parameters of their characters.
Apply elemental attacks
We advise you to take heroes who can deal huge elemental damage, and the element itself does not play a role. However, the most damage to the boss seems to come from the Melt (Cryo + Pyro) and Steam (Hydro + Pyro) reactions.
Protection Mode
When the boss loses a certain amount of health points, he goes on the defensive, protecting himself with an impenetrable barrier and summoning four ruin robots.
It is not necessary to defeat all the summoned opponents - you only need to kill the one who has a strip of lives above his head. Moreover, the rest of the enemies will not even take damage, so you can ignore them. The crab-like mob is the hardest to deal with, as it is able to defend itself from most of your attacks.
Save your strongest attacks for later
When you deal with the boss summoned common mob, the Perpetual Mechanical Array will lose its barrier and fall to the ground. He will lie immobilized for 10-15 seconds. It is at this moment that you attack him with your strongest blows (explosions of elements) to inflict maximum damage on him.
All moves and attacks of the boss
Laser shot
The boss shoots a laser beam in front of him, turning towards the character. Dash right or left to avoid damage.
Laser strike from above
The boss first captures the target (a red beam appears on the screen), and then shoots a powerful laser at it from above. Use the short time between target lock and attack to dodge the laser beam.
Transformation into a rocket
The Perpetual Mechanical Array transforms into a rocket, takes off, and then slams into the player at high speed, dealing massive area of effect damage. The affected area is marked on the ground with a red circle. If you perform a dash in time, you can dodge the blow.
Transformation into a cube
The boss turns into a light cube and rushes towards the player. Keep your distance from the enemy and slip out of his area of attack so that you are not hit by the final blow that hits the area.
Turning into a wheel
The boss turns into a wheel and starts spinning, and then heads towards the character. The range of this attack is not very high, so run back a bit and keep shooting at the enemy from afar. You can also just strengthen the heroes with shields.
Transformation into a sword
The boss takes the form of a sword and attacks the character with a sweeping blow from top to bottom. You only need to dash to the side in time to avoid this attack.
Perpetual Mechanical Array Rewards
To collect the bounty from the boss, you need to spend 40 units of primordial resin. Note that it drops both standard and unique materials for the exaltation of heroes. For example, only from it you can get the Perpetual Heart, necessary for pumping Ayaks. Here is the complete list:
