In Genshin Impact the labyrinth in the Temple of Eternal Night is a puzzle, the solution of which allows you to take the task of the world called "Date’s Challenge". In this guide, we will tell you where this challenge is and how to complete it.
Where to find the maze
It is located in the northern part of the Temple of Eternal Night (see screenshots below). You should come here after completing the quest "The Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent". Once on the roof of the ruins, you can read the inscription on the stone tablet, but this is not necessary.
How to solve the maze puzzle in Encanomia
First, you will need to switch to White Night in order for the 2 triangular mechanisms standing nearby (shown in the screenshot below) to work. Hit each of them once.
If you have already attacked mechanisms before, then try resetting your settings by logging out of your account, waiting 15-20 minutes, and logging back in. You can also try to move the walls as shown in the picture below.
Having correctly installed the walls, change the time of day to Eternal Night. Now head straight for the labyrinth. There you will need to activate 4 Hydro Monuments (hit them with Hydro attacks). Passages to them must be open.
If you're having trouble finding the pillars, return to the teleportation point and glide to the top of the maze again to see the correct route.
After activating the last monument, the grate on the floor, located in the center of the labyrinth, will move. Jump down. There you will find a luxurious chest, which contains "Date’s Medal of Recognition", and for now an unnamed ghost. It is he who will give you a new quest.
