In Atomic Heart Range 8 is a classified test site that can be infiltrated to find valuable materials and blueprints for weapon modules. It is very difficult to get into it, and inside you will find a variety of puzzles with magnetic coils and candles. In this guide, you will learn how to find and open Polygon 8, as well as solve all its mysteries.
How to find and open Polygon 8
Where to find all Volan devices and sensors
To get into this secret laboratory, you will first need to find points to enter the video surveillance system, and then select certain cameras and activate a number of sensors with them. So, go to the place shown in the screenshots below, climb the tower and select the camera marked on the map. Then turn on the mechanism by pressing the "F" key.
Climb down and start moving northwest to the second Shuttlecock device, which is located on the roof of the building shown in the pictures below. Climb up the side ledges, destroy the robots and interact with the mechanism.
Next select cameras and activate sensor (we listed both objects because we are not sure which one is correct). Their location is shown in the images below. There you can also see the coordinates of the second Shuttlecock.
Get down from the roof of the building and move towards the large wind generator. Near it you will find the third Shuttlecock. Interact with it, select the specified camera and enable last sensor.
Where is the entrance to Polygon 8
Now you can go to the passage to the bunker. To do this, return to the building, on the roof of which stands the second Shuttlecock, and go inside. Deal with all the enemies in the front hall and enter the elevator from the side. As a result, you will descend into the test area.
Passage of Polygon 8
Inside this testing area, you will need to solve several puzzles by finding three boxes with blueprints:
- Bottom Blade with Reflex Accelerator - for the Starlight weapon.
- Thermal imager - for PM weapons.
- Vortex converter - for the Dominator weapon.
- Block "Energy Vampire" - for the weapon "Electro".
- Nozzle made of polymer alloys - for weapons "Swede".
Next, we will consider in detail the passage of each test and solving riddles with candles and electromagnetic coils.
First Hall (Puzzle with Magnetic Coils)
Exit the elevator and turn right into the corridor (if you go forward, you will find some materials). You can then turn left into the rest room to save. Go further and turn right at the fork to get into a spacious room with a riddle (if you go left, you will find a chest with a blueprint cartridges for Kalash ).
So, you will need to get across to the other side by firing Shock at the magnetic coils and climbing over the beams. First, shock the ceiling to lower and raise the platforms. Then grab onto the yellow ledge ahead and climb forward to the very end. Then turn around and jump down to the yellow beams below.
Next, turn the camera to the left and grab the black beam. Move to its end, turn around and jump down to the blue platform just below. Walk forward, climb onto the partition, go to the other side and jump down to the platform on the left. Then turn the camera up and shock the ceiling again.
The obstacle ahead will disappear and you can simply climb to the other side on the red and blue platforms. Enter the open door and go forward, and then turn right to find a bronze chest with the first blueprint. Here you can also find a lot of lockers and boxes with materials.
Second hall (battle)
Go back a little, turn right and go down the stairs to go into the next spacious room. Turn left and then right - there you will find a rest room (save). There will be a dead end ahead. Go back and turn right into a cylindrical area with two trucks. Walk forward and climb into the hole.
You will be taken to the next test area. Here flying drones will attack you. You need to go to the other side of the room and look for containers that you can use to climb up to the stairs and find the exit. Before that, most likely, it will be necessary to kill all the enemies.
After climbing up, go along the corridor and turn left to find a silver chest. Now move forward to get into the last room with a puzzle.
Third Hall
Before you go through the hole in the wall, you can turn left into the break room and save. Once in a spacious area with platforms suspended from the ceiling, go through them to the other side. Move forward along the corridor and turn right (a chest is waiting for you on the left, and chests with blueprints are ahead "Handle" for Snowball and "Big Capsule with Neprem" ) and then jump down into the hole.
You will be taken to the lower level. Grab the candles that fall here and install them in the sockets above the door. You need to place 5 candles there. Then press the red button in the room behind the glass. Go through the opened door.
Upon entering the new area, you can turn left and enter the break room to save. Go into the room on the right and climb up the boards to grab the candle. Go back a little, climb the metal stairs and insert the candle into the candlestick.
Now stand on the edge of the yellow board and wait for a horizontal platform with beams and pipes to appear, along which you can get to the opposite side. The whole path is shown in the screenshot below. Once on the desired beam, turn the camera to the left and jump onto the wooden board. Next, go upstairs and take the second candle.
Place the yellow orb on the empty candlestick behind and wait for a new platform with beams to appear. Use it to go upstairs. The whole path is shown in the picture below. After going upstairs, take a candle from the candlestick, thereby setting the platform on which you are standing in motion. Do not discard the yellow sphere, otherwise it will reappear in the socket and the platform will move backwards.
When the platform stops, go down the pipe, and then use the yellow beams to get to the other side and enter the left passage. Ahead you will see a golden chest. After picking up the drawings, be sure to save. The fact is that as soon as you get to the surface, you will immediately be attacked by two mini-bosses - the White Robot.
After dealing with the opponents, go through the gate below to finally complete the study of Polygon 8.
