In Genshin Impact, Antiquity Hunt is a Patch 3.6 event and part of "Celebrations of the Mind". During it, you have to look for buried copies of relics in certain areas, using a Search Compass for this. As a reward, you will receive Source Stones, Ascension Materials, Gala Excitement, and “Omnidirector”. In this guide, we will tell you how to go through all its stages.
Basic information on the event "Antiquity Hunt"
How to start an event
First of all, you will need to complete the Opening Festivities quest, which allows you to access all the challenges of the main event. Next, you need to take on the mission "Antiquity Hunt". You just have to talk to the scientist Daneh from Wahumana, who can be found east of the city of Sumeru. Completing the quest will reward you with 10,000 mora and 4 adventurer experience.
The essence and Contest Rules of the event
You will have to follow the clues provided in the archaeological guide to find excavation areas with copies of the relics. Next, put a search compass on the character and look for an artifact with it (the density of the tracks indicates the distance to the target - it will increase as you approach it).
You can place search compasses in various locations to use their readings to find directions with higher trail density. When this parameter reaches 90%, you will have the opportunity to dig up a relic. Up to 3 devices can be placed at a time.
Excavation areas may contain elemental objects that disrupt compasses. Having found them, be sure to destroy them, and then take up the search again. If you fail to find an artifact within a certain period of time, the excavation area will automatically narrow.
Antiquity Hunt I
You will need to find two copies of the relics that are hidden in the location of Devantaka Mountain in Electro containers (Electro crystals may interfere with you). Equip the character with a search compass and go to the specified area. The map below shows the approximate location of both artifacts. Below we will tell you in detail how to get to them.
Relic Copy 1
Travel to the area's northern teleporter and immediately drop down to the bottom of the ravine. Set up your first compass to point towards the waterfall. If you suddenly have interference, then go to the center of the location, where the sealed automaton is located. Next to him are Electro crystals that need to be destroyed by Pyro attacks.
Return to the waterfall and place the second compass near it. You will see that you need to get even closer to him from the right side. Here you will find the treasure. The exact location is shown in the pictures below. Dig up the relic.
Relic Copy 2
Now just move to the center of the location. If you have already destroyed Electro Crystals, they will not interfere with your search. Walk a little to the south and next to the boulder you will find the second artifact. The exact location is shown in the images below.

Antiquity Hunt II
You will need to find two copies of the relics that are hidden in the Dar al-Shifa location in Cryo containers (enemies and misty flowers can interfere with Cryo, so take Pyro of Heroes). Equip the character with a search compass and go to the specified area. The map below shows the approximate location of both artifacts. Below we will tell you in detail how to get to them.
Relic Copy 1
Move to the specified teleporter and immediately jump down to the oasis. When you get to the marked area, go forward a little and deal with the Cryo creatures so that they do not interfere, and then set the first Search Compass.
He will point towards the island in the pond. Install a second device in the middle of it, and you will be able to dig up the first artifact.
Relic Copy 2
While on the island, collect misty flowers (hit them with a Pyro attack) so that they do not interfere with the search, and then set the compass. It will point to the south coast, where the hilichurls are located. Near their camp you will find the second relic.

Antiquity Hunt III
You will need to find two copies of the relics that are hidden near the Dune of Cunning ( Sumeru Desert) in Pyro containers (enemies and flaming flowers, so take Cryo or Hydro heroes). Equip the character with a search compass and go to the indicated area. The map below shows the approximate location of both artifacts. Below we will tell you in detail how to get to them.
Relic Copy 1
Move to the specified teleport and immediately put a Search Compass. Deal with the nearby Pyro molders so they don't interfere. Head east a bit and collect a flaming flower near the fairy house.
To the right of this flower at the foot of the stairs you will find the first artifact. Dig it up.
Relic Copy 2
Now start moving south towards the dilapidated pillar. Go through the bush a little further and set the compass - you will immediately find a second dig site. Take the artifact and check the event page to get rewards.
Antiquity Hunt: Conclusion
After finding all the artifacts, you will receive a new world task. Travel to Sumeru and speak with Daneh again. Give him all the containers found earlier. He will congratulate you and give you a piece of decor "“Omnidirector”".
As a reward, you will also receive 10,000 mora and 4 adventurer experience.
