In Honkai: Star Rail, the Crane Express is a hidden quest for Lofu Xianzhou that challenges you to solve navigational compass puzzles over three real-life days. For each riddle you will be given a valuable reward. On the second day, you will get the code for obtaining the chest, which must be given to Ziqiao, and on the third, you will have to find the clothes of that very teacher.
In this guide, we'll go over the solution to all of the navigational compass puzzles in Cloud Ferry. You will learn how to use the code, where to find Ziqiao and Yujin, and where to get things for the teacher. Do not confuse this task with the usual navigational compasses found in the open world - we will have a separate guide about them.
How to start the hidden quest "Crane Express"
You will have access to it after completing the development mission called "Stars whirlpool, insight is coming". Next, travel to the Well of Green space anchor located on Cloud Ferry and head west to the lower dock as shown in the screenshots below.
There you will find a confused man. Talk to the worried employee and agree to help him with the loading. Then interact with the bulletin board by clicking on the "Schedule" button. Here you can see how many more navigational compass puzzles you will need to solve today.
Navigation compass puzzles (Day 1)
Luckily, you won't have to run around to find different navigation compasses, since you only need to interact with one nearby device.
After solving the riddle and taking the chest, simply click on the schedule again and select the option related to waiting for the arrival of the next batch of cargo skiffs. Next, again interact with the mechanism that will have to be updated.
As for the essence of solving the puzzles, it is quite simple - you need to rotate the orange arrows so that they look in the same direction as the blue arrow protruding from the left.
In this case, the compass rings will rotate by different amounts - this depends on the bright star marks on the device. For example, one bright star circle means a turn of 60 degrees per turn. If you are too lazy to understand all this, then just view our detailed analysis of each puzzle below.

How to find Ziqiao and use the code to get the chest
Move to the Central Harbor of the Star-Sailboat Retreat and go to the northern part of it. In the place shown in the pictures below, you will find a girl named Ziqiao, who is a worker for the Crane Express. You may have already crossed paths with her before on a hidden quest "Seven Bugs Roboptah".
Chat with her and tell her that you need to pick up something, then show her the code and pay 1000 credits. After that, you can take the contents of a regular chest - in it you will find 1000 credits and 10 arrows.

On the next calendar day, head back to Cloud Ferry Pier and interact with the navigational compass. You can start solving new puzzles.

Where to find Yujin and the clothes of that very teacher
After solving the riddle, a closed container will come to you. Approach it and press the "Inspect" button. You will learn that a man who has no clothes is locked in it. He will ask you to go to Yujin and get things from her for him.
Teleport to the Stargazer's Avenue Dimensional Anchor located in the Central Harbor of the Star Skiff Retreat, and then head south and speak to Yujin, owner of Cloud Sleeves. Then mention "that same teacher" and his assignment in the conversation.
As a result, you will receive the clothes of the same teacher. Return to the locked container and interact with it again. Pass things, and then go inside and take the contents of a luxurious chest. This will complete the quest.
