In Honkai: Star Rail, chests in the Robot Settlement are valuable objects that contain various treasures ranging from shields to star jade. In this guide, we will tell you where you can find them and how to open them, because to unlock some chests you first need to solve a puzzle, complete a quest, or destroy strong enemies.
Where to find chests in the Robot Settlement
You will have access to this location after completing the story quest called "Rot or Burn". It consists of two floors, where you can find 11 chests of different value levels (excluding the piggy bank). On the maps below you can see their approximate location. Below we will tell you in detail how to get to them.
Normal chest 1
Move to the spatial anchor "Svarog Base" on the second level, and then go southeast and right next to Clara and her faithful bodyguard you will find the first object you are looking for.
Normal chest 2
From the previous chest, go down the stairs, and then turn left three times, go up the stairs, and you will find another treasure.
Normal chest 3
Move again to the anchor "Base Svarog", but now head north to the vagrant camp. Next to the tent in which the ore lies, you will find the chest you need.
Normal chest 4
From the previous chest, head east and around the corner. In a small niche you will find the treasure you need.
Valuable Chest 5
Return to the Svarog base and go down the stairs to the southwest. Along the way, you will likely encounter piggy bank space. We recommend that you destroy it, as it also counts as a chest.
At the bottom, you will encounter two groups of high-level automatons (depending on your equilibrium rank ), which are vulnerable to electrical, physical, wind and imaginary damage. We advise you to take Serval and Dan Heng with you (if we consider only budget heroes).
Normal chest 6
Now let's go to the first floor. Teleport to the Power Conversion Station anchor and then head west. Next to the boiler you will find the object you need.
Luxury Chest 7
Return to the previous anchor, and then head north, and at the fork turn left. Near the rock you will find a grizzly automaton guarding a luxurious chest. This is a very dangerous opponent, capable of summoning spider automatons to help him (try to destroy them as quickly as possible before they undermine your heroes).
The level of the characters must be at least the level of the enemy, otherwise the battle will be quite difficult. From budget heroes, we advise you to take Serval, Pela, Hook or March 7 to fight with him, as he is vulnerable to fire, ice and electric damage.
Normal chest 8
Go back to the fork and now turn right. Immediately behind the rock you will see the chest you need.
Normal chest 9
Go to the eastern part of the location, passing over small bridges, and then turn left and go upstairs. Near the broken direwolf and the fragmentum deposit, you will find a chest.
Luxury Chest 10
From the previous chest, go down, and then continue going west. Here you will find a dangerous enemy - the Burning Wanderer. We advise you to use ice characters against him, for example, Yanqin. Of the budget ones, Serval and Mart 7 are suitable. Do not forget to also bring a healer with you - Bailu is perfect for this role, as it also belongs to the electrical element.
Valuable Chest 11
After dealing with the enemies, go back to the fork and turn left (if you stand with your back to the place where the luxury chest was). Climb up and go to the heating system. Click on the "Repair" button to solve the puzzle with magnetic modules.
You will need to rotate the modules to connect all terminals. The finished result is shown in the picture below. As soon as you repair the boiler, a barrier will fall from the valuable chest on the right, and you can take its contents.
