In Honkai: Star Rail, chests in Rivet Town are valuable objects that contain a variety of treasures, ranging from credits to star jade. In this guide, we will tell you where you can find them and how to open them, because to unlock some chests you first need to solve a puzzle, complete a quest, or destroy strong enemies.
Where to find chests in Rivet Town
You will have access to this location when you complete the storyline called "Dry Night". It consists of two floors, where you can find 14 chests of different rarity levels (excluding piggy bank). On the map below you can see their approximate location. Below we will tell you in detail how to get to them.
Normal chest 1
Move to the space anchor "Entrance", and then go forward, climb the stairs to the right and move on. At the fork, turn left to a dead end, and near the garbage containers you will find a chest.
Normal chest 2
Travel to the Abandoned Market teleporter, then turn around and go up the stairs to the southwest. Turn into a small alley on the right, and there you will find the desired object.

Return to the previous anchor, and right next to it you will see a chest.
Normal chest 4
From the previous chest, go up the stairs a little to the south and go to the workshop. Here in one of the corners, next to the stone fence, you will find the chest you need.
Valuable Chest 5
Go to the square in the center of the location and interact with the controller. You will need to solve a small puzzle with magnetic modules by turning the terminals in the right direction to open the grate. The finished solution is shown in the third screenshot below.
After opening the gate, go forward and almost immediately on the right you will see a valuable chest - take its contents.
Luxury Chest 6
From the last chest, go deep into the alley, and after a few steps you will see an elite enemy ahead of you - the Thunderbird (its level depends on your balance rank). To fight him, we advise you to take fiery, ice and imaginary characters. A budget team might look like this: Hook, Pela, Pathfinder (fire) and Natasha.

Return to the main square and next to the wall of the building and the poster you will find a chest - take its contents.

From the central square, start walking south along the main road and go under the bridge. Behind the cart you will see a chest.
Valuable Chest 9
From the previous chest, go back to the market square, but before reaching it, turn right into the alley. Go forward and at the fork you will find a broken robot. Interact with him and start solving the puzzle with magnetic modules. The correct option is shown in the third screenshot below.
After repairing the bumblebee robot, click on it again and then start following it, going into the right lane. Deal with all the enemies on your way, and soon the helicopter will lead you to the chest.
By the way, in this alley you can also encounter a Piggy Bank of Space, which is also counted as a chest by the game, so we advise you to destroy it as soon as possible.
Luxury Chest 10
After finding the previous chest and the "pig", continue down the alley ahead, and soon you will encounter an elite enemy - Ice from space. This enemy is able to strengthen himself and deal damage to several of your characters at once. He himself is vulnerable to fire, wind and quantum damage. If there are Zele in the detachment, this enemy will not be a problem.
If we consider only budget heroes, then a good team can be assembled from Dan Heng, Asta, Pathfinder (fire) and Natasha.
Valuable Chest 11
Now move to the northeastern part of the location, towards the orphanage, but do not climb the stairs. Instead, go to the left and you will find two groups of strong enemies here. Their vulnerabilities are shown in the screenshot below. First of all, we recommend that you deal with the Imaginary Weavers, as they not only often go first, but also cause considerable damage in the area.

Return to the steps and climb them. To the left of the second ladder and two opponents you will find the chest you need.
Normal chest 13
If you have already opened the gate, you can go to the indicated place next to the Abandoned Market teleport. Otherwise, you have to go around through the orphanage on the second floor. The corresponding route is shown on the map below.
Valuable Chest 14
To get it, you will need to solve a small puzzle with racks and boxes. Access to it will open after the start of the adventure mission called "Adventurer Moles". Here you will need to find one of the treasures.
