In Remnants 2 The Summoner is a secret archetype aimed at summoning minions to assist him in combat. However, to open it, you must first acquire a Faded Griumar by collecting Blood Moon Essence. In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock this class and indicate its main features.

How to unlock the Summoner class in Remnant 2

First of all, you need to unlock the world of Yaesh and go through its storyline a bit, since all the necessary items are mined only in this region.

Where to find the Blood Moon Altar

Given that the locations in the game are randomly generated, this object also spawns randomly, however, apparently, most often it appears near the starting area. In our case, we are talking about "Nest of Koara-Kuri".

Teleport to the specified area and immediately open the map. On it, the object you need will be marked with a blue icon (the icon also appears when you are near the altar). A passage leads to it, which can be closed at first (just research Yaeshi and sooner or later you will open it). Behind him you will find an altar.

Interact with it and you will see a list of items that can be crafted with it. First on the list is the Faded Grimoire, which is required to open a new class. However, for its crafting, in addition to such familiar things as scrap and luminite crystals, you also need the essence of the Blood Moon in the amount 15 units.

How to get the essence of the blood moon

This is a special material that can only be obtained in those moments when on Yaesh shining blood moon. The second screenshot below shows an example of what the world should look like. The corresponding effect also occurs randomly, so if you don't catch it, then try moving to Ward 13 and back until it appears.

Note: Some note that the Blood Moon often appears in the Treacherous Thicket location, so we advise you to teleport there.

Note: You can also increase the frequency of the appearance of the Blood Moon before the fight with the Despoiler, but for this you will need to kill Doe.

So, having achieved the desired state of the world, you will need to look for special pink (purple) spheres that will fly through the forest (you will not find them in the dungeons). They can spawn anywhere in Yaeshi. Having found these fireflies, just shoot them - one such ball will drop one essence of the Blood Moon.

You won’t be able to collect a lot of materials in one run, so get ready for a long farm of them, especially if you plan to craft most of the items on the altar that will be extremely useful to the Summoner.

    How to use Faded Grimoire

After collecting the required amount of essences, return to the Blood Moon Altar and buy the required book. Now return to Block 13 and go to Wallace, who is on the tower. Recall that it was he who at the beginning of the game allowed you to choose a starting class. Give him 1000 Scrap, 10 Luminite Crystals and a Grimoire to receive an Engram "Messenger's Tome".

    Summoner Features

Like the Cynologist, this class plays through helpers that allow you to distract opponents and inflict heavy damage on them. By the way, both of these archetypes are perfectly combined with each other, so a bunch of Summoner (main) and Canine (secondary) is a good multiclass. Next, we will show all the abilities of the first.

    Skills

All of them are aimed at summoning different minions, and open at the 1st, 5th and 10th levels. To call them, the health of the hero is spent (you cannot die from using skills). You can also sacrifice any of the minions, thereby creating a powerful explosion.

    Primary Skill

With it, shooting at your minions is not only possible, but also necessary to increase their damage. This skill is perfectly combined with the talent of the dog handler "Kinship".

    Techniques

All of them are related to strengthening or using minions.

    Core Talent

It just speeds up the regeneration of health, which does not look very useful for the Summoner, given that he will mainly fight for minions, and he himself will be able to shoot monsters from a safe distance.
