How to get to the Emerald Grove

The entrance to the indicated location is located in the Sacred Pond. You will be able to visit it during the "Extracting the Parasite" story quest. When you complete it, you will meet Nettie. with which you will be able to access the Druid's Chambers, from where the path to the puzzle opens.

However, you can independently go to the required area. The pictures above show the location of the stone door. (X: 229, Y: 521) in the Sacred Pool, which must be opened in order to be in the Emerald Grove.

Where is the rune puzzle?

Go down the stairs and watch the cut-scene with the prisoner and the snake. Then open the second stone door on the other side of the room to enter the Druids' Quarters. In its northern part, to the right of the deer statue, go straight through the stone wall - it will immediately disappear, revealing a secret passage.

Head inside and you will enter the Enclave Library, where the puzzle you need is located. So, you will find four pedestals, on three of which the runes of an eagle, a bear and an elk will lie. The fourth tablet is missing - the runes of the wolf.

How to get the wolf rune

Head back to the Emerald Grove where Rath and Archdruid Kagu are. It is the first one in the inventory that contains the rune you need. You can get it in three ways:

1. Complete the mission to rescue the druid Khalsin. In this case, Rath will give you a wolf rune as a reward. This is the safest and most peaceful way for those players who play real heroes, but this method is also the longest. It is possible that while you complete the desired quest, the items hidden in the vault will already lose relevance for you.
2. Steal the stone tablet from Rath. This is the fastest method, which has almost no negative consequences (unless you don’t feel like stealing at all). We advise you to use it (just below we examined it in more detail).
3. Attack Rath and take the rune from his corpse. In this case, you will have to fight with Kaga and other druids. Not the best option (unless you play the role of a villain), because, firstly, the battle will not be easy, and, secondly, it will be possible to forget about the help of this faction in the future.

So let's take a closer look on theft. Save first, as your attempt may well end in failure. Next, choose a character who has the best stealth and theft skills, and then wait until the Gray wolf goes the other way, since you won’t be able to rummage in the Rath’s pockets while the beast is looking at you (the picture below shows the ideal option).

If the wolf still does not want to leave, then you can try to distract him with a conversation so that he turns away from Rath. To do this, select a character and interact with Gray, and then switch back to the pickpocket.

Next, click on the “Hide” option and click on your target (the word “Robbery” should appear next to it). Then steal the Wolf Rune from your pocket. You will need to pass a skill test to successfully steal. Even if the character did not notice you after the failure, then still reload, as there is a possibility that relations with him have deteriorated.

How to get to the Secret Vault

After obtaining the wolf rune, return to the Enclave Library and interact with the pedestal with an empty cell. A new window will open. Click on the right empty slot and transfer the tablet received from Rath into it. Then click on the "Combine" button, thereby completing the pedestal.

Now you need to interact with all four pedestals to make them turn blue. Apparently, the order is not important, but just in case, we will show you our sequence: wolf rune, eagle rune, bear rune and elk rune. If you did everything right, the statue in the center will disappear and a spiral staircase will appear instead.

Climb down to get into the Hidden Vault. In the chest you will find the Robe of Summer, and on the stone table you will find the Glaive of Sorrow. Their characteristics can be found in the pictures below.
