On the assignment "Heart of Eleanor", the hero is faced with a puzzle game in the Mendeleev complex in the form of collecting a schematic recombination sequence. Completing this objective unlocks the Annihilation Instinct DLC ending.
This guide provides tips for solving the beam puzzle and collecting the sequence, as well as the battle with the BUS-A boss, so that you can easily complete the mission Eleanor's Heart in Atomic Heart.
Where is the puzzle with balls in the game Atomic Heart
To get to the puzzle, you first need to get out of the Mendeleev complex, moving in circles to the task marker.
On the surface, you will need to collect the BUS-A ball robots. In the case of 1 black bead, you have to fight the "Turbo Ball". Elsewhere there is a little puzzle how to find a special bead among similar ones. The solution is simple: we collect the balls one by one and close them behind the hermetic doors. As a result, the beads will stop, and the hero himself will choose the desired ball.
Next, you come across a laser-locked Passive Safety Relay. To open it, you need to collect 3 blue lights, while almost all available lasers are red. Turn the blue laser in the lower right corner up.
There is a splitter in the lower left corner. We turn it and get 2 lights already.
Next to it in the same corner is another 1 splitter. We twist it and the riddle is solved. You have received all 3 blue lights, and the stairs down in the next room became available.
We fall into the cradle of Eleanor and find the final puzzle.
How to solve the recombination sequence puzzle
The hero enters the arena, where he needs to insert colored balls into the desired recesses. There is a layout plan nearby. On the left, the field itself is shown with empty cells and indications of where the balls should be. On the right is a hint for arranging the balls by color. It is important to note that each sequence starts with a central block. Nearby is a rack with balls, as well as 2 buttons (1 to activate the algorithm, and 2 to climb onto the platform and see the field from above).
The scheme for collecting balls is as follows:
- We start collecting with black and white balls, as they are given in a single copy. Put the black ball into the recess with the red arrow, and the white ball through one slot in the direction of this arrow.
- On the right - 5 balls, on the top - 4, on the left - 3, diagonally below - 2 and down 1.
As a result, the schema looks like this:
However, during the assembly process, Eleanor will try to stop the hero, but at that moment the Twins will come to the rescue and stand up for you. Ignoring what is happening, and continue to stack the balls in their places.
Boss fight
After a successful assembly, you need to run the algorithm, after which a boss consisting of red spheres will appear on the arena. BUS-A models have the possibility of mutual interaction and coordination, forming a highly efficient unit. BUS-A not only have individual flexibility and high speed, but are also equipped with laser systems. The boss can attack both at close and long range. The battle with him is divided into 3 stages, each of which has its own characteristics.
Stage 1
The boss uses both hands, uses fire waves, shots with spheres, and at any critical moment, the boss can combine his forces and unexpectedly deliver a powerful blow to the target, having previously made a jump towards it. Stage 1 ends with the deprivation of the Busomod hand.
Stage 2
At this stage, the boss uses his remaining hand and a three-beam laser is added to his attacks. Upon successful completion, the boss splits into separate spheres.
Stage 3
Pieces of the bead stack into a hand that fires black mines. Having dealt with the hand, the boss will be deactivated.
Completion of the circuit
After defeating the robot, it is necessary to recombine. The scheme will change a little (a chain of 3 balls on the left), but the logic will remain the same. The result should be the following diagram:
Press the red button on the main panel. The mission ends and you get the "Return to Utopia" achievement. The final video is shown, the hero flies away for a well-deserved rest.
We hope you found this guide helpful in solving the puzzle in Eleanor's Heart!
