Precious chest trapped in seaweed in Genshin Impact: how to find and open

    Leni

At the bottom of the Salos sea plateau, located on the territory of Fontaine in Genshin Impact, you can find many chests of various values, bound in seaweed spheres. We will tell about one of them in our guide. After reading this article, you will learn how to find a precious trophy and destroy the trap.

Where to find the precious chest in the seaweed trap

This precious casket is located in the central zone of the Salos sea plateau, closer to Cours-de- Fontaine. First of all, move to the underwater teleporter near the eastern city wall, and then swim south through a shallow gorge: under the rock overlooking the route, there is a chest bound in seaweed.

How to solve the seaweed puzzle

The trophy sphere is attached to three long seaweeds, each of which can be seen with a green glow. The task of the player: aiming at these sparks, cut all three "threads" at the same time. Note that this cannot be done using the standard underwater attack.

    Gain the xenochrome stingray ability

Not far from the puzzle will definitely float xenochrome Hunter’s Ray. Hit it just once to acquire Fontmer's Blade, an E-shku that fires hydro blades with a wide range. Then return to the seaweed trap.

One of the green lights that you need to cut the bonds on is constantly moving, so swim up to the seaweed so that all three targets in front of the character can merge into one. Then hold the E-shku and shoot at the moment when the moving sparks are on a level with the rest.

If done correctly, the algae sphere will disappear and you will be able to open a precious chest with the following contents:

    • Primogems: 10 pcs.
    • Hydro seal: 3 pcs.
    • Adventure EXP: 30 pts

In addition to fixed loot, from the precious chest you will receive pestilence, artifacts, weapons, and enhancement ore with a rarity of 1 to 4 stars.
