In Assassin's Creed Mirage Enigma are a kind of treasure maps, deciphering which you can find paints for costumes and talismans. Solving at least one of these puzzles will unlock the “Master of Riddles” achievement. Solving all puzzles is necessary to unlock the Explorer trophy. In this guide we will tell you where to find all the riddles and how to solve them.
Where to find Enigma in Assassin's Creed Mirage
In total, you can find 12 mysteries and treasures in Baghdad. Puzzles are presented in the form of scrolls. You can view them in the section Inventory > Bag > Riddles. They either have a map drawn on them, or simply written text, after studying which you can find a buried treasure.
Note that the treasure appears only after you find the scroll with the riddle, so you won’t be able to immediately go in search of treasure. After finding a hidden item, the scroll associated with it will disappear from your inventory.
None of these mysteries can be missed, as you can start solving them even after completing the main story. The order in which they are found is also not important, but below we will look at them in the order in which new regions open. Let's add that the map above shows the approximate location of all the scrolls with puzzles.
Sacred Treasures
Where to find the riddle
- Region: Harbia
It can be found on a shelf between two jars in a house located in the southeastern part of Kharbia, south of the Khorasan Gate Outpost.
You can enter the house through open doors located both in front and behind the riddle. Do not climb into the building through the windows on the second floor, as it is impossible to go down to the first tier from there.
Where to find the treasure
It is hidden under a large tree located east of the Nestorian Monastery. Head to the northern border of Kharbia to reach the required religious building. There is a pond next to the tree.
Approach the white light and click on the "Pick up" button to receive the beige paint for the "Abbasid Horseman" costume.

Where to find the riddle
- Region: Harbia
She can be found south of the Blacksmith's Workshop. It's inside a house with barred doors and windows, so you'll have to struggle a bit to get inside.
First of all, bring down the scaffolding blocking the window (see screenshot above). Then climb into the house and pick up the scroll next to the corpse.
Where to find the treasure
It is located quite far from the place where you found the riddle, so you cannot do without a horse. Ride southwest to the Abandoned Village. Then go to its southern part and look for a white light next to the dried fish.
Pick up the treasure and you will find the Horned Lion Talisman. Please note that we are talking about a cosmetic item that does not affect the hero’s characteristics in any way.

Where to find the riddle
- Region: Harbia
Head to the bridge near the Catrabbul Gate, located in the northwestern part of the area. Go under the bridge and find a small area covered with a tarp. Next to the palm tree and the boxes you will find the required scroll.
Where to find the treasure
Head to the southeastern part of the Persian Court and go south to the Soapmakers' Quarter. You will find a white light inside a small beautiful gazebo.
After picking up the treasure, you will find black paint for the “Rise of Zinj” costume.
Delight at the Dome
Where to find the riddle
- Region: Abbasiya
She can be found in the Mosque with a viewpoint located in the suburbs of Qakhtab. Approach the entrance to it and on the left side, next to a jug of flowers, you will find the scroll you need. It lies on a small table.
Where to find the treasure
You will need to head to the Qubbat al-Khimar Mosque (Donkey's Dome), located east of Greater Bimaristan. There, find a small pond located north of the observation point.
The treasure is hidden right in the water, not far from the gazebo. Pick it up to receive the Mysterious Talisman.

Where to find the riddle
- Region: Abbasiya
She can be found on the second floor balcony of a house located south of the Scriptorium in Yasiriya territory.
Where to find the treasure
Get to the house located northeast of the Observatory. Then go up to the second floor level of the building and approach the window with targets on the right side. Take the throwing knife and launch it through the narrow hole into the latch inside the structure, as shown in the second picture below.
As a result, you will open the window on the other side and be able to climb through it into the house. Go down to the first floor and take the treasure, which turns out to be black paint for the Rustam suit.

Where to find the riddle
- Region: Abbasiya
She can be found on the roof of a building located southeast of the Four Markets Gate. At the top of the house, find a gazebo with turquoise canvases. Go inside and take the scroll from the small table.
Where to find the treasure
It can be found near a small wooden bridge located in the southern part of the Outskirts: West. The white light is located near a large cobblestone.
Pick up the treasure to find another decorative item called the Knight's Talisman.
Full payment
Where to find the riddle
- Region: Karkh
The scroll lies on a bench located on the roof of a building located just north of the restricted area of the Officers' Assembly.
Where to find the treasure
It can be found inside a ruined house located in an abandoned village located southeast of Neighborhood: South.
By digging out the treasure, you will receive gold paint for the “Invisible” costume. It cannot be applied to other outfits, like any other dye.
Just rewards
Where to find the riddle
- Region: Round City
The required scroll can be found on a table standing on the upper level of the forbidden zone of the Basra Gate, which connects the Round City with the Carkh. The area with the table is located on the same tier as the upper part of the wall where the guards patrol.
Where to find the treasure
It can be found on boxes located near the southern entrance to Shurta Headquarters. Simply enter the territory of this forbidden area and take the treasure.
As a result, you will receive black paint for the Abbasid Horseman costume.
A gift for you
Where to find the riddle
- Region: Round City
The scroll is hidden inside the building on the second floor. Before you can get inside, go to the window with holes shown in the screenshots below. Then take the throwing knife and throw it through the latch to unlock the window on the other side.
Go to the opposite side and climb into the house through the opened passage. Once inside, go to the far room on the right and look for a scroll on the sofa.
Where to find the treasure
It is hidden inside a fountain located in the western part of the Mazalim Court. By digging it up you will receive the Bedouin Talisman.
Defeat
Where to find the riddle
- Region: Baghdad area
It can be found on a tombstone near the Tomb of Zubaydah, located near the border with Harbiya.
Where to find the treasure
You can find it on a piece of land near a sunken building located in the northernmost part of Uqbara. After digging up the treasure, you will receive the Rebel Talisman.
Joy under the Weeping Palms
Where to find the riddle
- Region: Baghdad area
It can be found in a small stone gazebo located northeast of the Secondary Market.
Where to find the treasure
It is hidden in the middle of a palm garden located east of the viewpoint and south of the city. The pictures below show the exact location. By digging up the treasure, you will receive green paint for the Invisibles costume.
Harvest in the Ruins
Where to find the riddle
- Region: Baghdad area
It can be found on the second floor of a building located southwest of the vantage point in Jarjarai.
Where to find the treasure
It can be found under a V-shaped tree in the southeastern swamps of the Baghdad Outskirts. The screenshots below show the exact location of the treasure. When you dig it up, you will receive a Sinister Talisman.
