In Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Marco's memories are special items that are sand crystals that can be found in different parts of New York. Finding them will allow you to open the “Grains of Sand” trophy and heal the sandman – Flint. In this guide we will show you their locations.
Where to find all of Marco's memories in Marvel's Spider-Man 2
These objects are orange crystals, to collect which you just need to approach them and hold down the button that appears on the screen. You will collect the first sandstone during the main mission “Step by Step”. After completing it, you will be able to collect these stones in the open world.
They are also marked on the map as orange crystals, and these icons appear when you fly near these objects, that is, initially you will not even know about their approximate location (from a distance they stand out as sand pillars). The picture below marks the location of all 14 of Marco's memories.
You can collect them in any order. The last one is not taken into account by the quest counter and appears only after all the others have been found. Sand monsters will attack you near the crystals, so be prepared for some small battles. Next, we will tell you in detail where to look for all the sand crystals.
Sand crystal 1
- Area: Financial District
You can find Flint Marco’s very first memory during the main mission called “Step by Step”, that is, it is impossible to miss it. When you find yourself in a burning building, go down and examine the strange crystal. Then deal with the group of sand monsters and examine the orange quartz again, and then break it for a memory stone - listen to it.
Sand Crystal 2
- Area: Williamsburg
Found on top of a manufacturing building with a large chimney located in the northwestern part of the area. He is lying on the sand.
Sand crystal 3
- District: Little Odessa
Can be found on another industrial structure with pipes, located in the north of the specified location. Climb to the roof of the building, deal with the enemies and break the crystal.
Sand crystal 4
- Neighborhood: Central Brooklyn
Head to the point indicated on the map and go down to the street. You will find a crystal next to a trash container. There may be bandits hanging out nearby, so be careful.
Sand crystal 5
- Area: Financial District
It is located in the southeastern region of the specified location, near the coast. Climb to the roof of the skyscraper, deal with the monsters and take the stone with the memory.
Sand Crystal 6
- Area: Financial District
Go to the southern part of the marked location, to the sandy shore. Near the fountain you will find another crystal.
Sand Crystal 7
- Area: Chinatown
Located in the southwestern part of the location, right on the border with the Financial District. It is hidden between a group of buildings. Go down, deal with the enemies and take the memory.
Sand crystal 8
- Area: Financial District
Fly to the northern part of the indicated area and go down the alley between the buildings. Near the corner of one of the houses you will find a new stone with Flint's memory.
Sand crystal 9
- Area: Chinatown
Move to the northern area of the indicated location and go down to the roof of the building with the water tank. Just below it in a pile of sand you will find another crystal.
Sand Crystal 10
- Area: Midtown
It can be found in the western part of the indicated area, on top of a glass skyscraper. Deal with your opponents and take the stone.
Sand Crystal 11
- Area: Central Park
Fly to the southern area of the indicated location and next to the pond you can find another stone with Marco’s memory.
Sand Crystal 12
- Area: Midtown
Move to the southeastern part of the location, and then go down the alley between the three buildings. At the bottom, deal with two groups of enemies, and find a crystal in the corner.
Sand crystal 13
- Area: Greenwich
Head to the western part of the indicated area and find a small courtyard, on the territory of which there is a sports ground, fenced with bars. Deal with your opponents and take the memory.
Sand crystal 14
- Neighborhood: Central Brooklyn
When you listen to the 13th memory, Spider-Man will suggest visiting the place where it all began to find more crystals. An additional icon will appear on the map indicating the western part of the marked area. The crystal is located on the ruins of the building.
As soon as you interact with him, you will immediately be transported into Flint's mind. Run forward, following the bright sphere. Soon you will discover a huge orange crystal. Start throwing rocks scattered around the area at him. It is not necessary to kill sand monsters, since they are constantly reborn anyway. After destroying the crystal, pick up the stone with the memory.
How to unlock the "Grains of Sand" achievement
Once you collect all 14 Sand Crystals, you will receive a side mission called "Remembrance" and a new marker will appear on the map pointing to the Astoria area. Go to its northeastern part and find a small house there - knock on the door, leaving a small figurine on the porch.
Watch a short video, after which the quest will come to an end. As a reward you will receive 2 thousand experience points and 20 tokens. In addition, you will unlock a new achievement.
