In Genshin Impact Shining cups are materials of awakening for Narcissenkreutz's sword, obtained at the end of the quest chain "In the footsteps of Narcissus". However, unlike other similar resources, they can be obtained in places that are only indirectly related to the specified line of quests, so many players have a question about where these glowing shells can be found. Where to find Shining Cups in Genshin Impact
Collect withered shells
We are talking about the original form of these materials. The first such shell could be found during the release of update 4.0. The developers then added the remaining three withered shells, which lie in different parts of Fontaine. We've covered in detail where you can find them in a separate guide.
Take advantage of the fountain at Annapauses
After obtaining all four withered shells, teleport to Annapause and emerge from the water, swimming down. Then slowly glide towards the fountain in the southwestern part of the area where the girl made of water was previously sitting.
Interact with the small fountain and select the "Feed withered shell" option. Do this four times to get four Shining Cups. Next, simply use them to fully awaken the Narcissenkreutz sword.
