The riddle with the shell in the Forest of Erinyes in Genshin Impact - This puzzle in Fontaine, for solving which you will receive two treasures. In the guide we will tell you where to find the riddle and how to solve it by passing the flower-crystal test.
Where to find the puzzle
The riddle is located in a clearing between Marcotte Station and Urania Lake, slightly south of the teleport. Here you will find a huge shell and some Hydro intelligence level crystals. One thing is missing - to get it, you will have to solve another small puzzle.
Puzzle with a flower-crystal
The first part of the puzzle is located east of the shell. Here you need to interact with the mechanism to gain the ability of the xenochrome octopus, and then influence the Elemental Reaction: Crystallize flower with this ability.
They will show you the way out of the platforms for a couple of seconds, but it will disappear almost immediately. Now you need to follow an invisible path.
First you need to go 3 platforms forward and turn left on the third. After passing two more platforms, turn right. After 2 more platforms, turn left and touch the shiny particle.
For convenience, we have provided a screenshot above with visible platforms that you can use as a guide. If you go astray or do not meet the allotted minute, the test will have to start again. The reward for this part of the Achievement: Challenger is a regular chest. One of the crystals will fly out of it and head towards the shell.
How to activate crystals
The rest of the puzzle is the simplest one: attack the shell to open it and break the Hydro Rock inside it to activate a small rain. After this, a precious chest will appear next to the shell.
