How to start the "Soul Departure" quest

The quest becomes available after completing the task "Insight". Head to your Ghostbusters' gathering place in the Garden of Serenity.

Visit the Lofu Horror Stories website. There you will see the following entry: "The neighbor's dead wife appears to have returned.". Click on it and accept the order.

Find the author of the post

Head to the southern part of the Exalted Shrine and talk to the stranger. He will tell you where you can find his neighbor and his wife who has returned from the dead.

Talk to Wenyuan

Head to the eastern part of Aurumaton Alley. Here on a bench sit Wenyuan and Heliobi, who has taken the form of his wife Ruoxi. Talk to them and use the harmonic bell to prove to the man the true nature of heliobi.

It turns out that Wenyuan had long ago guessed that Ruoxi was not real, but he is happy about this, and Heliobi herself has developed feelings for him. Here you are faced with a key choice: arrest Heliobi or release her, leaving the couple together. Let's note right away: choosing the second option will give you a continuation of the quest with a small additional reward.

Arrest heliobi

If you decide to separate the lovers, you will have to fight the illusion of Ruoxi and two Abundance Beasts. They all have ice, electrical and quantum vulnerabilities.

After victory, go to the Garden of Serenity, to the Tower of Suppression, and seal the heliobi.

After this, talk to Hanya - she will give you a cruelty longevity pill and ask you to take it to Wenyuan to ease his suffering a little.

Return to Aurumaton Alley and talk to Wenyuan. He will refuse to accept anything from you. All you have to do is publish a post to complete the task. This choice leads to receiving an achievement "Pale Fire".

Let go of heliobi

Wenyuan will thank you and the couple will leave. Now you have to return to the gathering place and talk to Guinaifen. Choose a title and publish a post - this will complete the first part of the quest and you will receive the achievement "For you, Immortal".
