In Genshin Impact V Chenyu Valley, released in update 4.4, travelers can find a large number of both completely new puzzles and mechanisms, and acquaintances from the very beginning of the game. It is the latter that include elemental monuments. In this guide, we'll look at where to find them all, and how to solve the puzzles associated with them.
Elemental Monuments of Chenyu Valley
In total, in this location you can find 7 riddles with elemental monuments. Next we will take a closer look at each of them.
Elemental Monuments 1: Anemo
It stands on the slope of Mingyuan Mountain. The totem will be locked, but the lock will be removed as soon as you approach it. Impact it with the air element. A time-limited challenge will start in which you need to collect 55 particles in 75 seconds.
Ride the wind current and then move into the pearl portal. After that, fly to the right, and use the accelerating rings to move further. The last orbs will be on the ground next to the fast travel point. Your reward will be a precious chest.
Elemental Monuments 2: Pyro
You will find them near the river north of Lingmen Mountain. Don't move away from the teleporter. Take any pyro archer. The free Amber will also work. Light the totem on the jade platform opposite you. Then turn right and shoot the monument below.
Another totem is hidden under a pile of rocks directly below the fast travel point. The last of the monuments you will find in the hut on the left. To unlock it, you will have to destroy all nearby hilichurls. After this, you can take the Treasure from the precious chest.
Elemental Monuments 3: Pyro
You activate these totems in the dungeon under Lingmeng Mountain during the quest "Floating Jade, Treasure of Chenyu".
Elemental Monuments 4: Geo
These two totems are located in the dungeon east of Yaode Valley. The entrance there is indicated on the map below. You can find a more detailed route in the quest guide "The Roaming Abode". Once you're inside, activate the two monuments standing there using geo attacks. Your reward will be a rich chest in the depths of the cave.
Elemental Monuments 5: Geo
You will find them south of the Chizhang Wall. There will be four totems in total around the rich chest, but you need to activate only those with yellow flowers around which yellow flowers grow with geo attacks.
Elemental Monuments 6: Hydro
They stand northwest of the statue of the seven Archons in the southern Chenyu Hills. First, go to the circle on the water between the three totems and examine it. A hydro stone will appear. Hit it to activate nearby monuments. Then go a little further to the chest to light the remaining statue and collect your reward.
Elemental Monuments 7: Hydro
The last riddle is located on the Chivan terrace, access to which opens after the quest "An Ancient Sacrifice of Sacred Brocade". You will need to light three hydro totems. One of them will be blocked. To open it, destroy the Mimics wandering around. For this you will receive a rich chest.
