In Honkai: Star Rail The Stone's special boss ball is a special destructible object that can be found in four locations in Penaconia. Annihilation each individual ball unlocks one secret trophy: "FlyMe2theBaloon", "Balloon Gakuen 2", "Balloon Impact 3rd" and "Penacony: Balloon Rail". In this guide, we'll tell you where to find them and how to pop them.
Where to find all the special Boss Rock balls
Before you start searching for these balloons, you should completely complete the quest line "The Sound and the Fury", so that you have access to all the necessary areas of Penaconia. Also take into your squad characters who can hit destructible objects from afar, for example, Black Swan, Ruan Mei, March 7th, Natasha and so on.
Special Boss Stone Ball 1
- Location: Golden Moment
Move to the spatial anchor “Chasik Square” on the first floor of the location, and then turn around and run forward to the railing. Below you will see a rapidly rotating red ball. Select Natasha and shoot him so that the projectile will fly down in an arc and hit the desired target. You will need to move a little away from the fence, otherwise the grenade will hit it and explode.
If you can't hit the ball from here, you can go down and try to shoot it with a Luka by selecting March 7th. As a result, you will unlock the achievement "FlyMe2theBaloon".
Special Boss Stone 2 Ball
- Location: Dream Boundary
Teleport to the stagnant Shape of Roast Shadow, then head north and use the Eye of Dreams to get to the other side. If you have already opened the door here, then move to the anchor “Family Construction Bureau” and go south. The map below shows all routes.
Then stand on the edge of the unfinished metal stairs and near the water tower you will find a rapidly spinning blue ball. You can only shoot him down from here with a bow March 7th. At least our other characters didn't pester him. Immediately after this you will receive an achievement "Balloon Gakuen 2".
Stone 3 Special Boss Ball
- Location: Baby's Dream
Head to the Dreamworld Twist anchor and then run north, opening the door and going up the stairs. This will take you to a spacious room with a 3D map. Immediately turn left, go down and interact with the golden fountain on the right to get yourself 3 Dream Bubbles.
Now activate the bubble bridge on the left and use it. Once on the wall, run forward and left to open the second bridge. Walk along it and activate the third bridge on the right. This will return you to the normal plane.
Run forward across the open area until you see a rapidly spinning blue ball on the left. Take some ranged fighter and blast him. As a result, you will unlock the achievement "Balloon Impact 3rd".
Stone 4 Special Boss Ball
- Location: Hotel "Dreams" (dream world)
Teleport to the stagnant shadow "Shape of Nectar" and run east or to the spatial anchor "VIP Hall Corridor" and move west. When you get to the area shown in the screenshots below, you will see a blue ball spinning quickly behind a gap in the textures. Select any ranged fighter and shoot at the object.
Eventually you will have to unlock the trophy "Penacony: Balloon Rail". Each ball also drops some credits and materials. In total, you will receive 20 star jades for unlocking four achievements.
