This location is a great place to set up an ore mining base, as it is closest to the starting area and has four ore veins.
Location No. 2 Old Church
- Coordinates: (72, -40)
Near the fast travel point you will find as many as five veins. The location for the base is quite good, but it is located on a plain, so be prepared for enemy attacks from all sides.
If you don’t want to spend additional resources on guarding and strengthening your base, just mine ore manually.
Location No. 3 Small village
- Coordinates: (11, -523)
Found on a cliff west of the fast travel point. This is a great place to manually mine ore or set up a base, as it is home to eight iron ore deposits.
Enemies will only be able to enter the location from one side, but it is located quite far from the starting zone.
Location No. 4 Ice Weasel Hill
- Coordinates: (-28, 159)
Located right next to the teleporter. Although this point has fewer ore deposits than the above mentioned ones, it does have other resources such as pure quartz, trees and stones. Overall, this location is a great place to build a base.
How to automate ore mining
Automation of the base will allow you to mine ore without your participation. To do this, you will need to place several buildings and assign the appropriate workers.
The first thing you need to do is check if you can create at least two databases. After that, select one of the above areas with ore deposits and go there.
In order to establish a base, place a container for Pals in the selected location, as well as a chest in which the pets will store the extracted resources. Try to position the buildings so that there are as many ore veins as possible within the radius.
Now it is necessary to provide workers with everything they need. Provide them with beds, a feeding trough, a berry farm and a hot spring.
In order for ore to be smelted into ingots, a primitive furnace must be placed at the base. It opens at level ten.
Next, you need to assign workers to make everything work.
First of all, we need Pals who know how to extract minerals. Penking, Tombat, Dumad or Digtos are suitable for this.
