Golden Trove Beetle in Dragon's Dogma 2: where to find them

    Zorthrus

In Dragon's Dogma 2 Golden Trove Beetle are special collectibles that can be found in the open world, taken from chests, or obtained from completing certain quests. If you use this thing, you can increase the maximum carry weight of the hero and the main pawn by 0.15 kilograms. For this reason, collecting them will make your life much easier, since you will be able to carry much more materials with you and equip heavier equipment.

Where to find all the Golden Trove Beetle in Dragon's Dogma 2

We are talking about luminous golden insects that often hang on trees, rocks, cave walls or other vertical surfaces. Some advise looking for them at night, as they stand out in the dark. It’s just that at night the visibility deteriorates significantly, so it will be more difficult for you to get to the right place. Plus, you may encounter extremely dangerous enemies.

For this reason, we still advise you to look for them during the day - just follow our instructions below and you should be able to spot them at the indicated points without any problems. Let's add that sometimes the pawns will say that there is a treasure nearby, so listen to their conversations. We also advise you to keep before your eyes interactive world map, which shows the location of all the gold beetles.

    Gold beetle 1

The desired location is located north of the village of Melve. The insect will be hanging on a tree growing near the base of the cliff, to the right of the camp fire. The exact location is shown in the screenshots below.

    Gold beetle 2

From the previous point, go a little southeast to the house. To do this, you need to go down the path shown in the third screenshot below. The insect will hang on the tree.

    Gold Beetle 3

Continue down south to the location shown in the pictures below. Take out the group of goblins, and then pick up the insect from the burnt tree trunk.

    Gold Beetle 4

Head south as usual, take out the goblin camp on the upper plateau between the two roads, and then go down. You will see an insect on a rock.

    Gold beetle 5

Now go southeast along the road, and soon you will notice a golden insect on a tree standing on the side of the road - pick it up. There are pigs walking nearby (you can use them as a guide).

    Gold beetle 6

Take the main road east from the Border Outpost (your first settlement). When you reach the cart and chest, turn left into a small ravine. You will find an insect on the stones.

    Gold beetle 7

Continue along this road to the southeast and near the "Monster Cluster" marker you will see a fallen tree lying on the side of the road. Near its foot there is a bug.

    Gold beetle 8

Follow the same road to the east and just below the "Breach Stone - Vitality" you can find a golden insect hanging on a tree.

    Gold beetle 9

Follow the same road south and cross the bridge. Immediately after this, look to the left and you will see a group of trees, on one of which hangs the bug you need.

    Gold beetle 10

Continue following the road south, crossing the second bridge, and you will soon reach a fork. There will be a golden insect lying on the path to the left.

    Gold beetle 11

Follow the main road, and when you cross the third bridge, turn right onto the narrow path near the "Ruins by the River" marker and go north. Approaching a small bridge, turn left towards the ruins of the structure. Enter there and you will see a beetle hanging from a large tree. Be careful, as there are goblins wandering around.

    Gold beetle 12

From the previous location, move south to the camp fire. Then go up to a small hill and you will notice a beetle sitting on a tree.

    Gold beetle 13

After collecting the last beetle, go east to the caves of the Land of the Poor, but do not enter them, but go a little further south. Here on the road there are trees, on one of which there is an insect. Be careful, as there are goblins wandering around.

    Gold beetle 14

From the previous location, go further south and cross the bridge. Turn the camera to the left to see a tree with an insect hanging on it.

    Gold beetle 15

It is located a little south of the previous bug. Walk along the road and on the side of the road right next to the river you will find a tree with an insect hanging on it. There is also a camp fire nearby.

    Gold beetle 16

Start heading east towards Nameless Village and cross the large wooden bridge. Once you do this, look to the right and you will see a group of trees, on one of which the insect is sitting.

    Golden Beetle 17

After picking up the previous bug, start walking east from the camp fire towards the “Eastern Forest” marker. Be careful, as there is a minotaur wandering nearby. If you don't want to fight him, just grab the insect from the tree and then run out of the valley.

    Gold beetle 18

From the last place, go back northwest and get to the broken bridge over the river. On the south side, look for a tree growing to the left of the bridge. The insect will hang on it.

    Gold beetle 19

From the last place, go southwest and cross another bridge, which is made of wood. Then climb up the hill on the left side and look for an insect on a tree.

    Gold beetle 20

Move south to the Ruined Settlement, and then go further south to the coast. There will be an insect hanging on one of the trees here. The exact location is shown in the screenshots below.

    Golden Bug 21

From the previous location, follow the main road west towards Wernworth. When you reach the fork near the bridge, look at the group of trees at the base of the cliff and you will see an insect on one of them.

    Golden Beetle 22

Cross the bridge leading into Wernworth and then turn east towards farm fields and houses. You will see trees and bushes near the building shown in the pictures below. The insect hangs on one of the trunks covered by bushes.

    Golden Beetle 23

Exit through the northeast passage from Vernworth, and then turn left and reach the edge of the cliff near the river. The insect will be lying on the ground next to the tree.

    Gold beetle 24

It is awarded for completing the quest “The hand of the giver will never fail”, which is given out by a girl named Daphnia in the slums of Wernworth. Help her collect certain items and she will give you one bug as a reward.

    Gold beetle 25

It can be found northwest of Wernworth. Follow the road west after you cross the bridge and then look for a tree in front of the river with a bug hanging from it. Be careful, as there are goblins wandering around.

    Gold beetle 26

It's located to the south of the previous bug, but you won't be able to get to it in a straight line, so first cross the bridge to the north, and then do the same to the south to return to the opposite side. Along the way you will encounter lizards. The insect sits on the sea coast.

    Golden Beetle 27

Start walking towards the village of Kharv in the southwest. Before reaching it, turn right onto the small path and continue south. After climbing onto the cliff with the ruins, look for a beetle on a destroyed column.

    Golden Beetle 28

Now go straight to Harv Village and next to the rift stone you will find an insect hanging on a small tree.

    Gold beetle 29

From the village of Kharv, head north and turn left at the fork. Be careful, as you may encounter a drake (dragon) along the way. There are trees on the side of the path, and on one of them you will find a beetle.

    Gold beetle 30

From the last place, move west, passing across the bridge and past the camp fire. As usual, look for a tree near the side of the road with an insect hanging on it.

    Golden Beetle 31

Follow the winding road north from Trevo Mine until you see a large tree on the side of the road with a bug hanging from its trunk.

    Golden Beetle 32

From the previous location, continue north, go through the bandit camp and reach a fork. Here, turn right and start heading southeast along the main road. Keep an eye on the trees on the left and you'll soon see an insect on one of them.

    Golden Beetle 33

Turn around and go back to the intersection to the north, then continue north until you reach a small body of water. At the foot of one of the trees growing near the pond, there will be an insect.

    Golden Beetle 34

From the pond, go east and cross the bridge. Continue heading east and you will soon see a small chasm. A natural bridge made of fallen trees will be built across it. The bug you need will sit on it.

    Golden Beetle 35

From the past bug, start walking north towards the camp fire. Then turn northwest and approach the pond. Be careful, as there is a chimera roaming the area. Go under the aqueduct and near the waterfall you will see an insect sitting on a log.

    Golden Beetle 36

Head east into the Malachite Forest and go into the small gorge. At the intersection of two roads, find a cobblestone on which an insect will sit.

    Golden Beetle 37

After collecting the last bug, start walking along the road to the northwest until you find yourself at the point shown in the pictures below. Here you will see a spiral wooden path leading up. Climb it, and then find an insect sitting on the root of a huge tree.

    Golden Beetle 38

Continue west from the bridge until you reach a fork. Directly in front of it, search the nearest trees - the insect will be hanging on one of them.

    Golden beetle 39

After exploring the elven lands, return south and cross to the other side using the bridge. Climb the hill and find an insect hanging on a lonely tree. The landmark will be a statue without a head.

    Golden Beetle 40

Now follow the road to the west, keeping an eye on the trees on the left side. Soon you will see an insect hanging on a tree growing right at the foot of the cliff.

    Golden Beetle 41

Continue along the main road southwest and cross the bridge. Then climb onto the high island with the chest and tree. The insect will hang on the tree trunk.
