Cineas in Genshin Impact: where to find and how to defeat

Where to find Kineya

• Location: Capitol Hill

You can get to this area only during or after completing the quest chain “Canticles of Harmony”. Move to the teleporter located in the southeastern part of the location, and then swim west and down. Soon you will see the entrance to a cave on the right side - swim into it.

Start swimming forward through the tunnel. On the way you will meet cannons, you can ignore them. Soon you will be able to surface, and ahead you will see a teleport that should be activated. From here you will have a view of the arena where Cineas will walk.

Recommended Commands

In many ways, this monster is similar to ordinary vishaps of the depths, but has higher characteristics. For example, he has 70% and 30% resistance to Hydro and physical damage, respectively, so it is not recommended to use damage dealers of the corresponding types against him.

Note: Note that you can take Hydro characters as sub-dampers or supports to create reactions such as Steam, Elemental Reaction: Frozen or Budding.

But its resistance to other elements is only 10%. However, we highly recommend that you take Dendro fighters. The fact is that this local Legend is capable of placing a Noelle: Protector on itself, increasing resistance to all elements by 80%, and the easiest way to destroy it is Dendro’s reactions. The next most effective are Cryo attacks.

Important: It is best to use archers or catalysts against him, since the boss has a very dangerous aura that quickly reduces the health of your characters.

We also advise you to take a good shieldman and/or healer, since this vishap deals enormous damage with its attacks, which is why the survivability of the squad should be put in first place. The boss launches 3 spheres. When hit, the sphere deals 20% of ATK in the form of Hydro damage and takes 30 units of energy from the active character (in their absence, health is reduced).

Cleansing Blast

Consistently and quickly launches 6 spheres. When hit, the charge deals 20% of ATK in the form of Hydro damage and takes 20 units of energy from the active character (in their absence, health is reduced).

Cleansing Field

The boss puts a Hydro Noelle: Protector on himself and creates a field with a radius of 6.5 meters around himself. Every 0.5 seconds, the field will take 10 units of energy from active characters located inside it (in their absence, health is reduced).

The Noelle: Protector can be destroyed using various elemental reactions, with Dendro attacks having the best effect on it. After destroying the barrier, you will stun the vishap for a short time and will be able to hit him with impunity.

Kick in spin

Dashes towards the player and then performs a spinning strike, dealing significant Hydro damage.

Claw combo

If the character is standing next to the enemy, then he first performs 2 horizontal strikes with his paws, and then hits the ground with his fists, causing Hydro damage over the area.

How to defeat Kineas

The enemy has a large health bar (at level 90 he has 2 million hit points), so be prepared for a very long battle. Take with you more dishes to restore your health and use potions that protect you from Hydro damage, as well as increase the elemental damage of your fighters.

The greatest danger to you will be the Noelle: Protector, since if the characters have no energy, it will take away their health. For this reason, we advise you to switch to long-range fighters (archers and catalysts) when the barrier is active and hit the enemy from afar. It is best to use Dendro attacks (Tighnari, Nahida, Baizhu and so on).

The Hydro Sphere Vishap is relatively easy to dodge, especially if you stand far away from it. If you play melee characters, then try to activate shields and healing abilities in time to prevent your allies from dying. Of course, you will need a NRE with dishes to restore your health.
