In Wuthering Waves Frostbugs are unique creatures that live in the Mt. Firmament area. For their destruction, Astrites are awarded, but this is not easy to do, since first you need to find these worms, and then carefully approach them.
In this guide, we'll tell you where you can find all the frost bugs in this rocky area, and how you can kill them quickly. Let's add that you can also unlock two achievements at once: “Wimpy Bug's Nightmare" and "Push Past the Bag".
How to catch the Frostbug in Wuthering Waves
Frost beetles look like worms that constantly poke out of the ground in search of food. However, they are quite shy, so they immediately hide in the ground as soon as they see danger. For this reason, you should never get close to them. Plus, you should only approach these creatures from behind.
Note: If you made a mistake and came too close to the worm, which is why it crawled back into the ground, then don’t worry about it - just move a little to the side and after 1-2 minutes the beetle will crawl out to the surface again.
Be sure to take a character who uses pistols in battle to hunt for frost beetles. The fact is that only they will be able to get to the vulnerable point on the worm’s back (see screenshot below). To do this, simply use the aiming mode by holding down the left mouse button or pressing the “G” key.
Where to find all the frost bugs in WuVa
In total, 10 similar worms can be found on the territory of Mount Firmament. For killing each of them they give exactly 20 astrits. The location of all bugs is shown on the map below. Next we will tell you in more detail how to find them.
First frost beetle
Go to the northwestern part of the location, to a small island located east of the Luminous Shore. The creature you need will peek out from under the water. As soon as you kill him with a shot in the back, the trophy will immediately open for you "Wimpy Bug's Nightmare", for which they give 5 astrits.
Second frost beetle
Move to the resonance beacon located south of the previous location, and then turn the camera to the left, and you will immediately see a worm next to a couple of ice blocks. It is not necessary to get closer, since you can easily hit it from a given distance.
Third frost beetle
Head to the coast east of the 1st bug and you will see a creature on a sandy peninsula. Get up behind him and shoot him in the back.
Fourth frost beetle
Teleport to the resonant nexus in Hongzhen, and then go down south and approach the pond surrounded by rocks. In it you will find another bug.
Fifth frost beetle
Go to one of the islands in the southern archipelago, shown in the screenshots below, and on a small piece of land you will find another worm. Approach him from behind and shoot him.
Sixth frost beetle
Travel to the resonant beacon in the Loong's Ridge location, then run forward and jump down from the edge of the wooden platform. Land on the ledge on the left side so that the bug sitting in the water does not notice you. Then shoot him in the back.
Seventh frost beetle
Head to the sandbank located southeast of the previous resonance beacon and look for a worm surrounded by three ice blocks. Next, shoot him in the back.
Eighth frost beetle
Teleport to the resonant beacon located southeast of the Loong's Crest location, and then go a little more in a southeast direction. Approach the ledge and a little lower on the shore, surrounded by three ice blocks, you will find a worm.
Ninth frost beetle
Travel to the resonant beacon west of Lung's Crest, and then go a little southeast to a rock with ledges. Climb onto the ledge to the left of the area with the ice blocks, and you will see the worm you need behind the bushes. You can shoot him through the plant - the bullet will still count.
Tenth frost beetle
Head to the pond located in the northeastern part of the region, and then run to the waterfall in the south. Next to it you will find the last worm, which will again be surrounded by ice blocks.
Once you kill the 10th Frostbug, you will unlock the trophy "Push Past the Bag", for which they give as much as 20 astrits. Thus, for destroying all these creatures you can earn 225 units of premium currency.
