    Flying squirrels in Genshin Impact: how to solve wreath puzzles in Simulank

    Leni

    On the new temporary Simulank map, which opened with the start of the next summer event V Genshin Impact, you can stumble upon a large number of unusual puzzles with magical creatures, and the flying squirrel challenge is one of them. The player will have to control the flight and guide the rodents through the paper wreaths. For successfully completing such tests, you will be able to open chests of varying rarity, which contain primogems, resources and Excerpts of Bliss.

    Read our guide on how to find and complete all the puzzles with talking flying squirrels in Simulank: we'll tell you how to choose a flight path and return the squirrels to meet the limited time limit.

    How to control flying squirrels

    Achievement: Challenger with flying squirrels, in most cases, consist of 4 key objects for interaction:

    • The squirrel itself: point the camera towards the creature with the yellow cone icon above its head and press the “T” key (for PC);
    • Paper wreaths through which you need to guide the flight of flying squirrels;
    • Balls of flowers, hitting which, the little squirrel clings, and he can be brought back to himself in a controlled manner;
    • Tall stems with yellow buds: hitting them will open up a current of wind that will help blow the targets to a suitable location.

    The main task of the challenge is to help the flying squirrel fly through all the wreaths within the allotted time. You must hold down the normal attack key, and then release it, if you are sure of the trajectory - the rodent will rush in the given direction and will automatically return back in a couple of seconds (it won’t spawn, but rather fly - this loophole can be exploited in order to achieve goals that were missed).

    General Map

    You can find everything in Simulank 8 challenges with flying squirrels, and they are located in the northern half of the Forest of Blessings ( see map above ). Next, we will analyze each individual section in detail.

    Flying Squirrel Challenge 1

    Let's start with a section of road in the northwestern half of the forest (notably, here you can find Jubilant Feather which we noted number 6 V separate guide ). There is no time limit for this challenge - simply select a creature that is ready to fly and follow the instructions below:

    First, guide the squirrel along the arc of wreaths that will appear behind the llama's back. Then repeat with another next to the targets, only towards the end aim at yellow flower bud. A stream of wind will blow the Garland that appears to the row to the right: let the flying squirrel fly through it and catch on the ball of flowers. At the end, all you have to do is come closer to the downward-facing corridor of rings and pull the little animal towards you.

    The reward of this Achievement: Challenger, a rich chest, will spawn near a llama happy with its flight.

    Flying Squirrel Test 2-3

    These two challenges, located west of the Squirrel Palace, are part of luxury chest puzzles, which we described in detail in separate guide. For both, we will be given a rich chest, and the complete solution will give access to four rewards of varying rarity.

    Flying Squirrel Challenge 4

    Next, move to the teleport on the northwestern side of the Forest of Blessings: not far from it there is another group of talking paper animals, ready to fly. This test consists of three phases, for which only 55 seconds.

    To successfully collect everything 20 wreaths , at the beginning, aim the squirrel at the row of rings behind which it floats flower ball. Once the flying squirrel is hooked, return it back over the lone hovering target, and then repeat the rotation on the second half of the rings. In the second phase, take turns aiming the squirrel at two rows of rings (the four in the middle move to the sides - wait until they stop opposite the static wreaths). At the end you also need to hit moving targets.

    Remember : Even if you miss, the Squirrel flying backwards can still catch the rings that come in its way ( the main thing is to stand in front of the right wreaths ). For completing one precious chest is awarded.

    Flying Squirrel Challenge 5

    The fifth puzzle is located under the teleporter in the Kingdom of Winds and Bells - go down to the path where there is another locked precious chest. We have exactly 2 minutes for this task ( 120 seconds ), and when performing it you will have to climb to a hill (do not forget to use bluish clouds of smoke, increasing the jump range).

    From the start, we shoot the squirrel in an arc in front of the road and cling to ball of flowers, we climb the hill in front and return the creature through the corridor of targets to ourselves. In the same section, we let the squirrel fly along another arc to the point of attachment and again move in the direction of its stop.

    Once again we will return the flying squirrel to ourselves through a series of targets and again repeat the flight to the ball through the appeared arc of wreaths.

    Next, you need to fly to the foot of the tree and stand on the green boulder (first screenshot above). We need to bring the creature back, but a number of wreaths are higher than the height of the heroes, so jump and simultaneously press the normal attack button so that the Squirrel flies back along a higher trajectory.

    In the end, you need to launch the squirrel in an arc, which will spawn to the left of the place where we jumped, and then go down to the chest and pull the little pilot through the last row of rings. At the end we will be given access to a precious reward.

    Flying Squirrel Challenge 6

    The sixth challenge can be started on the hill behind the flying squirrel palace, and it also has no time limit.

    This riddle is quite simple: first aim the creature at closed yellow bud, in front of which a lone Garland hangs, and then a second one in front (they will help the ring fly to the main row).

    When the Garland is between two static rings, launch the squirrel in an arc until flower ball, and from it - down through the queue of targets that appears. This challenge is rewarded with a rich chest.

    Flying Squirrel Challenge 7

    The penultimate challenge awaits us in front of the road beyond the water gorge, southeast of the squirrel castle (mark on the map above). There is also no time limit here.

    Having picked up the squirrel, you need to pass it through similar successively appearing rows of wreaths twice: the first time, aim through them at closed bud, and in the second focus on flower ball. The third time, wreaths will appear that you can grab by standing under them and bringing the flying squirrel back to you. This little challenge will reward you with a regular chest.

    Flying Squirrel Challenge 8

    The last challenge is also located near the road and slightly south of the previous one. It also does not limit us in time.

    Once you have a flying squirrel at your disposal, aim it at the lone flower ball, and having caught on it, return it back through the piece Garland floating from side to side. At the end, the usual arc will appear with another ball at the end - let the squirrel cling to it through all the targets and return the little animal back, simultaneously collecting the last row of targets that appeared a little ahead.

    Our last reward is also a rich chest. In general, for successfully completing all tests with flying squirrels and opening chests, we will receive 47 primogems, 8 Fragments of joy and a random amount of various resources for upgrading heroes.
