In Genshin Impact The Special Divination Tag is Inazuma's quest line, in which you will need to decipher strange divination tags, look for spies, and destroy opponents. In this guide, we will tell you how to start this quest, and where to look for the enemies indicated in the notes.
How to start the quest "Special Divination Tag"
Considering that this mission appeared in the game after the release of Update 2.4, most likely, it will be possible to take on its passage only after completing the Archon mission "Omnipresence Over Mortals". After dealing with this, teleport to the island of Narukami (Inazuma) and head towards the Araumi Valley. Not far from her, look for the Fatui Camp, which you need to deal with.
Then go to the tent and examine the Shabby Notes (the screenshots above show the right place). Now travel to Travel Notes: Grand Narukami Shrine on the same island and head towards Gendo Ringo. Try your luck by pulling out the tag. Next, talk to the girl and select the phrase "(gives a divination tag) In the middle of a foggy night." After that, you will receive a Strange Divination Tag.
If you were unable to receive this tag, then read the following tips:
- Don't pull the divination tag until you've read the Tattered Notes - if you do, the quest will eventually move to the next day.
- The strange tag will not appear if you have never drawn regular tags before. In this case, you will first need to draw out a simple prediction, and then wait a day, read the notes and draw out a special tag.
- The task may well not start on the first day after reading the notes. Therefore, if you are unlucky, then try to pull out the tag the next day.
Strange divination tags
After studying a special tag, you will need to go to the indicated place and deal with a group of enemies there. Such actions will need to be performed for four real days. Below we will indicate the places where the enemies you need are located.
Day one - Fireblade Murisu
Teleport to the castle in Inazuma, then run northeast and glide off the cliff. Then fly to the right, and you will see the entrance to a huge cave with water. The screenshots below show the required space.
Then go a little to the southwest until you get to the point shown in the pictures below. Scroll the clock closer to 00:00 for Hydro Agent Fatui and a couple of skirmishers to appear here. Deal with them. Now you will need to wait for the next day.
Day two – Mushi Maki
Return to the temple on the mountain again and take the tag from the divination box from Gendo Ringo. Talk to the girl again and give her a piece of paper, choosing the option with "In the middle of a foggy night." Examine the tag in your inventory to find out who you will need to eliminate this time.
Teleport to the Kujo Camp (Kannazuka) to the location shown in the screenshots above. There you will find the Maki Mouse kairagi. He will appear here only closer to 00:00, so rewind the time if necessary. Having dealt with the enemy, wait until the next calendar day.
Day Three - Gathering of like-minded people
Return to the temple on the mountain again and take the tag from the divination box from Gendo Ringo. Talk to the girl again and give her a piece of paper, choosing the option with "In the middle of a foggy night." Examine the tag in your inventory to find out who you will need to eliminate this time.
You again have to get into the dungeon, located under the palace in Inazuma. Above we showed the passage to the cave. However, now you will need to go a little deeper. Then move the time to 00:00 - 04:59 to see the opponents. Deal with them.
Day Four - Keen, Demon Slayer
Return to the temple on the mountain again and take the tag from the divination box from Gendo Ringo. Talk to the girl again and give her a piece of paper, choosing the option with "In the middle of a foggy night." Examine the tag in your inventory to find out who you will need to eliminate this time.
Travel to Yashiori Island at Jakotsu Mine. In the south of the area near the coast, deal with a group of enemies. Then interact with the glowing marker to learn the clue.
Get to the west coast of the location and deal with the Demon Slayer there. The right place is shown in the screenshots above. Most likely, the enemy also appears here only closer to midnight.
Day Four - Gendo Ringo
You can immediately return to the temple after the previous task. The girls will not be near the counter. Check out this place. You will find a Letter left by someone. Read it (it is in the inventory, in the "Quest" section). It will indicate the place where you will have to go.
Go down to the northeast of the temple and find a dilapidated wooden bridge there. It has a quest marker on it. Study it. Then watch a short cut-scene with Ringo. The girl will imprison you in a cage in an underground cave.
After completing the cutscene, the cage will open and you will receive the "SHUUMATSU GAIDEN" achievement. Don't forget to open the precious chest located in this dungeon. Then simply interact with the lever on the wall to open a secret passage and exit the cave.
Return to the temple and talk to Gendo again. Then the next morning, head to Inazuma City to take on the quest. "Shuumatsuban Operations", which opens the mission "The Replacement’s Secret" , which in turn unlocks "Where the Dandelions Find Rest" . At this point, the Special Divination Tag quest line will come to an end.
