In Genshin Impact A Cliff-Side Hero’s Past is Rift world quest, in which you will need to find and defeat Tang Wuchou, as well as find Old Chow and dig up gifts. How to start a task
To do this, go to the View from The Chasm’s Surface and climb Cinnabar Rock. It may need to be done after receiving the quest "The Chasm Charters" . It will take a long time to climb, so we advise you to eat some endurance meals. After climbing up, move to the point shown in the screenshots below. There you will find a character named Tang Wuchou.
Talk to him and then pluck the Flower of Farsight. A new dialogue with Tang Wuchou will immediately begin. He will be angry with you, and therefore will attack the hero after the conversation. If the conversation does not start, then try to pick all three qingxin flowers.
Note: If you came here earlier and plucked all the flowers, then the character will not appear. Most likely, you will need to wait 2-3 real days until the local curiosities are restored.
How to beat Tang Wuchou
A self-proclaimed student of the Guhua school is not much different from a simple treasure thief, but has more health and deals increased damage. However, you should be able to deal with it without any problems. Then a new conversation with the impostor will follow.
Next pass Tang Wuchou Bird Egg calling it a precious stone. He will give you a jade pendant. We are talking about emerald jade, harming ordinary people. You will need to find a merchant who distributes these stones.
Note: Note that in your inventory at this point should appear Flower of Farsight. You will need this plant to complete The Millennial Mountains quest.
Where to find Old Chow
The desired character can be found southeast of your current location, not far from the shack. Plan down the cliff and chat with the man. Ask him all the questions you have. If you have already completed the task "Undetected Infiltration", then tell him about the detention of his "friends".
How to Unearth Old Chow's Gifts
On the right side of the merchant there is a plot with pits. Approach any of them and start digging. In the pits you can find various vegetables, ore and even a bomb (barrel). In the real mini-game, finding a mine means losing, but now you can continue to dig. Examine all the holes until you find a bag of jewelry.
Apparently, the bag always spawns in the same place (center row, 4th hole from old Chow). Talk to the man again. Then return to Cinnabar Rock and talk to Tang Wuchou again. This will complete the task. As a reward, you will receive 250 adventure points, 30 source stones, 30,000 pestilence and 3 hero experience.
