In Genshin Impact The extinguished Mushroom asks for help is Rift world quest, during which you will need to cleanse Zamaran from vicious energy, help his relatives, and then follow the water stream to find the source of corruption. How to start a task
Before embarking on this mission, we advise you to upgrade your Lumenstone Adjuvant to at least level 4 in order to be able to destroy mud wells. You will also need a lot of energy.
To take the quest itself, you will need to talk to the huge mushroom Zamaran, which you may encounter as part of the quest "WhereWherefore Did the Spiritstone Descend?». He is in the Luminous Passages. Its exact location is shown in the screenshots below. Approach him and talk to him.
The Mushroom will ask you to share energy, as he spent a lot of energy fighting vicious energy. To do this, go to him and press the "F" key. You will need at least 5 bars of energy to do this. Otherwise, you will have to pump your Adjuvant first.
Purify Zamaran of Corrupted Energy
You will need to destroy 3 mud holes. Their location is shown on the map above. The first clot is located in the northeast of the mushroom. Try not to step on the black liquid, so as not to lose energy. Destroy the source using a Lumenstone.
The second well is located southeast of Zamaran. Approach it and destroy it with the Adjuvant. Now move southwest. The third well will be located on a stone hill.
Having dealt with all the clots, return to Zamaran and tell him about your successes. He will express his gratitude to you and ask for another favor.
Help the Kindred of Zamaran
All 5 mushrooms will be marked on the map. You can energize them in any order, however we still recommend taking the route shown in the image above as it will save you time.
So, turn left from the giant mushroom and move to the northwest, climbing the slope. Defeat your enemies and energize Kindred Zamaran.
Continue climbing up, heading north. Collect a bundle of energy along the way. On the right side you will see the Mushroom you need.
Then go down the slope down to the east. Then turn left and you will find mushrooms that require energy.
Move north again and start climbing up. Near the foot of the ledge you will find the fourth kindred. Then climb onto this ledge and look for the last Mushroom. Fill it with energy. Return to Zamaran again and chat with him. He will again ask you to help him.
Follow the water current and find the source of vicious energy
There will be no marker on the map. By water flow is meant a river. Therefore, you can immediately move to the teleport in the north, and then go to the northeast. The entire route is shown on the map below. Ahead, on a hill, you will see the mages of the abyss and a mud well.
Deal with Electro, Pyro and Hydro Abyssal Mages. We advise you to use cryo attacks to quickly destroy the shields of enemies and, if possible, freeze them. After dealing with them, destroy the well, and then use "Blessings of Wisdom" in its place. Next, examine the precious chest.
Now you can return to Zamaran and tell him about the work done. This will complete the task. You will unlock the "The Mushroom That Asks Too Much" achievement and also get 300 Adventure Points, 40 Source Stones, 30,000 Pestilence, 3 Hero XP, and 3 Enchantment Magic Ores.
