In Atomic Heart, Excellent is a story mission in which you will need to find a ticket for the Whirlwind train in order to head to VDNKh. It will not be easy to do this, since Rafik will not accept expired travel cards. In this guide, you will learn where to find the right ticket, how to exchange it, and what to do in case of a bug.

As part of the mission "Morning Express" you will need to get on the train. Go to the Lesnaya station and enter the red car on the left, going up the stairs. Go to the back of the car and talk to the robot there. He will ask you for a ticket. Unfortunately, you won't be able to convince him to let you through without a pass. Therefore, complete the dialogue and take on the task "Excellent".
Get out of the car and start examining the corpses of people lying nearby. They will be marked with markers. First of all, go down the main stairs down to the entrance to the station. Approach the nearest body - it will belong to the dead usher. He will not have a ticket, but he will inform you that they are not registered, so any travel card will suit you.
Approach the next corpse a little ahead, belonging to a dead soldier. He also will not have the item you need. Go right to the monument - the body of a dead loser will lie near it. Before interacting with him, deal with the black robot walking nearby. Then take the ticket from the corpse.
You can return to the train. Show Rafik the ticket. However, he will still refuse to go to VDNKh, as your travel card will be expired. There is nothing to do, you will have to examine the corpses again. You are left with the last option, which is farthest from all the other bodies. Go down to the station entrance again, pass the yellow buses and move towards the two-story wooden building ahead.
Note: Rafik and the dead usher can tell you that the expired ticket needs to be exchanged at the box office. However, this path doesn't really lead anywhere, so just find the next corpse.
Go around the building on the left side and go inside through the front door. Once in the hall, turn right and go up the stairs to the second floor. Walk along the corridor to the right and get out through the window. Then climb onto the table, move to the opposite side and climb into the water tunnel.
Swim up the tunnel and climb out through the window with red curtains. In this room you will find a dead technician. Talk to him and pick up the travel card, which will be valid for another month.
Now all you have to do is get back on the train and hand over the ticket to Rafik. At this point, the mission will come to an end and the next task called "Train to Solnechnaya" will begin.
Can't get a train ticket (bug)
Many players complain that they can't get a train ticket when talking to the right characters. Often this error occurs when the sequence of actions is violated, that is, if you immediately go to a dead technician for a pass, or when performing side activities for a long time, for example, cleaning Polygons.
Therefore, in this quest, we advise you to follow the order of actions indicated by us and not be distracted by other things. If the bug has already occurred, then we can only recommend that you load the save before starting the specified task and complete it strictly according to the instructions.
