In Resident Evil 4 (2023), the Viper Hunter is one of the Vendor's quests, during which you have to find three snakes, capture them and sell them for a valuable reward. In this guide, we will tell you where to find these reptiles and how to catch them.

How to start the Viper Hunter quest
You can get this quest in Chapter 3. Exit the Town Hall and you will immediately see a merchant in front of you. A blue note hangs on the wall near the exit. Examine the contents of the leaflet. It will indicate that you need to find three vipers and sell them to the shopkeeper. As a reward you will receive four spinels.
Quite often, snakes end up inside wooden loot boxes. However, instead of running around in search of boxes, we advise you to simply walk through the places we have indicated below.
Viper 1
After saving in the Church (Church) using a typewriter, jump down the hatch and fight with several opponents. Walk along the wooden platform a little forward and run into a small hut on the left. There you will find a box. Break it and immediately run away, as a snake will be waiting for you inside. Kill it with a knife or shoot it with a pistol, and then pick up the carcass of the reptile.
Viper 2 and 3
Just two or three vipers can be found at the very beginning of the Fish Farm (Fish Farm) on a wooden platform. True, sometimes only one snake is found in this place. In this case, we advise you to carefully inspect the location, as the desired reptiles often swim in the water - listen to the hissing sound to find snakes.
Note that you do not need to return to the merchant next to the Town Hall to sell the viper bodies. You can give them to the shopkeeper in front of the Fish Farm and after the Quarry. Its location is shown in the screenshots below.
By selling three snakes, you will receive 3000 coins and four spinels. We remind you that the latter can be exchanged for unique and rare items.
