An Artist Adrift Genshin Impact - peace quest to Sumeru, which became available in version 3.6 of the game. It consists of three parts, and to complete it you will need 3 real days. In the guide, we will look at how to start the quest and complete it, helping the lost artist from Fontaine.
Passage of the quest "An Artist Adrift"
How to start the quest (first day)
First you need to complete the quest "The majestic sky of that day", after which the task will automatically start "Itihasa Asipattravana". Move along it until you dispel the purple mist. Then follow the cleared Hvarna and open the passage. Paimon will draw your attention to the man by the water.
The man will say that his name is Julien, and he is a famous artist from Fontaine.
Get back to camp
Continue heading northwest using the four leaf symbols.
Find Julien's things
Head to the coast of Samudra.
One of the boxes is on the shore, next to two hilichurls.
The second one is in the water, under the dendroculus. Using Sorush and the special four-leafed symbol by the first drawer, you can collect the oculus and land right next to Julien's belongings.
The last box is hidden in a pile of sand on the beach. A dog sits nearby, but when you approach it, it will run away to the camp. Develop sand with Anemo.
Take the easel and defeat the attacking monsters - the mitachurl and a couple of hilichurls.
Get back to camp
Go back to the southeast. You learn from Julien that the dog's name is Perchik, and the man got lost in the desert following her. After drinking tea together, the first part of the task will be completed.
For the first part of the quest, you will receive 30 primogems, 200 experience points, 15 thousand pestilence and 2 books of experience, as well as the opportunity to continue the task the next real day.
Go to camp (second day)
Go to the camp through the cave where you first met the artist. You will see him surrounded by hilichurls and mitachurls. Save Julien and talk to him.
Search the road for missing sketches
Go through the cave to the east. You have to explore several points of interest.
The first is next to the hilichurl digging the ground.
The second is a little further, by the tree in the gear.
To find the third point, go to the dead end in the cave.
Turn around and take the first passage on the right. After going down into the cave, turn left. You will see a group of Hilichurls led by a Mitachurl with a fire axe.
Examine the easel. Nearby you will see Perchik. Follow him and find the sketches.
Get back to camp
Go west to where the previous task ended. Talk to the artist and find out the truth about his problem, "gift" and dream. Julien will say that he needs to go through the path of pilgrimage in order to get real creative abilities. After this conversation, the second part of the quest will end.
For this part of the quest, you will receive 30 Primogems, 200 XP, 15,000 Mora, and 2 Books of XP. To proceed to the last part, wait for the onset next real day.
Go to camp (third day)
Return to the place where you last saw the artist. During the conversation, you will convince him to stay in Sumeru for a while.
Travel to the Oasis of Vourukash
Teleport to the Archon Statue and get closer to the water.
Talk to Julien
After a dialogue in which you offer the artist to find a unique landscape, a Time Trial Game will start: you will need to reach the goal in 300 seconds. The path is pretty easy: just navigate the four-leaf symbols and sometimes jump on the mushrooms.
Leave the viewpoint
After talking with Julien, fly forward. Here you have to solve a puzzle with the help of Sorush. Fly over the flowers on the inner circle, then - on the outer. After that, fly again in the same circle, only higher, and collect the seeds.
The impressed artist will thank you and decide to stay close to this landscape.
For the last part of the quest, you will receive 30 primogems, 200 experience points, 15,000 pestilence and 2 character experience books, as well as the achievement "Wonderful Journey" from the section "Wonders of the World" into 5 primogems.
