Sensitive Beings 1 in Honkai Star Rail: how to start and solve the puzzles

In Honkai: Star Rail Sensitive Beings 1 is an adventure mission that takes place on the Gerta space station. As part of it, you have to find out where the virus came from by solving a couple of puzzles with unearthly material. If you're having trouble starting or completing this quest, check out our guide.

Passage of the mission "Sensitive Beings 1"

How to start a task

Before you can take on this quest, you will need to fulfill a number of conditions, namely:

Reach at least Mastery level 13.
Complete the Exploration mission "The Long Wait for the Edge of the Blade".
Complete an adventure mission "Rebirth Road".

Having dealt with the indicated requirements, you will have to receive a message from a certain Laughing Shell. Read her dialogue to the end to accept the task. Next, you will need to go to Asta and talk to her. You'll find her at Hertha Station in the Main Control Zone.

Check out Mayr, Chris and Joanna

You will need to check three people by eavesdropping on their conversations and following their actions. Mair is on the right side of the Main Control Zone. Stand behind the machine and press option "Listen" .

Chris can be found in the southern part of the specified location. Stand behind the guy and select an option "Listen" . Unfortunately, you won’t be able to watch him for a long time, as he will immediately notice you.

Joanna is located on the left side of the Base Zone, on the second floor (there is a staircase next to the dimensional anchor). Enter the premises and stand next to the reception desk. She will also act strangely.

Return to Asta and tell her what you saw. She will offer to view the records of the suspects.

Terminal in control room (platforms puzzle 1)

Head to the Support Area (Parts Warehouse), go forward, deal with the level 8 enemies and turn right. Climb up and move on. On the left, by the way, you can find piggy bank space.

In the next room you will find a puzzle with unearthly material. You will need to correctly pass through the luminous platforms, stepping on each of them no more than once. The entire route is shown in the GIF below.

When you get to the other side, you can open a valuable chest and inspect the terminal, which will give an error. Then talk to the engineer who will appear behind you.

Update the identification program (platforms puzzle 2)

You will again have to solve a puzzle with unearthly material, and it will be a little more difficult than the previous one, since a black hole will appear. First go to the left corner through the center and enter the portal to get to the right. Then move to the finish line. The full route is shown in the GIF below.

After reaching the other side, open the second valuable chest, and then interact with the terminal again. You will only be able to study Mayr's notes, which will indicate her innocence. Next, talk to the engineer again. He will ask you to come back tomorrow. This task will come to an end.

As a reward, you will receive 100 Mastery XP, 5,000 Credits, 2 Adventure Logs, 30 Star Jade, and 50 Hertariums. You will be able to take on the second quest in the “People Have Feelings 2” chain only on the next calendar day.
