In Honkai: Star Rail Vessel of Mediocrity (Part 3) is the mission of Yarilo-VI's adventure, in which you will again have to help Cyril in rescuing the girls by solving the riddle with the klutz's chest, and also fight the Keeper's Shadow. If you're having trouble accepting or completing this quest, check out our guide.

Passage of the mission “Vessel of Mediocrity (Part 3)"

    How to start a task

You will be able to start this quest on the next real day after completing the previous mission of the chain “Vessel of mediocrity. Part 2". Next, go to the Everwinter Hill location by teleporting to the Creation Platform point and chat there with the Guardian Shadow, over which an exclamation mark should hang.

She will ask you for help, promising in return to answer any of your questions without deceit and tricks. Get ready to solve another crate puzzle.

How to solve the box puzzle

    Спасение первой девочки
    Saving the first girl
    Спасение второй девочки
    Rescue of the second girl
    Спасение третьей девочки
    Rescue of the third girl
    Спасение четвертой девочки
    Rescue of the fourth girl

Now you will need to save four girls at once. To get to the first of them, move the box on the left to the very top border, and then push the box on the right even further to the right. The whole process is shown in the GIF below.

Next, move up the drawer in the second row (counting from left to right). Move to the third row and drop the third box down. As a result, you will be able to reach the second child. All actions are shown in the gif below.

Go to the empty space on the right, where the second girl used to be, and move the box in the north up even further. Then interact with the third child on the right. Go upstairs a little more and push the crate on the right to free the fourth girl. The whole process can be seen in the gif below. Just in case, we showed ready-made solutions in the screenshots above.

As a result, you will solve the puzzle and unlock the achievement "Guilty Without Guilt". You can pick up treasures from a luxurious chest, immediately receiving another trophy called "The Birth of Tragedy".

    What to say Cyril

Next, talk to Shadow Guardian. Ask her all your questions. At the end, she will note that she needs the blessing of the protagonist to free her soul from torment. You can tell her the following:

    • "I... understand what you want." In this case, you have to immediately enter into an ibtwa with the Shadow of the Keeper.
    • "I can not do it". If you choose this option, Cyril will be saddened by your answer, but will let you go. The task will not end there, so you will need to agree to her request and fight her anyway.

How to defeat Cyril, and what to do with the relic

In addition to Cyril (which has a weakness to physical, wind and quantum damage), you have to defeat two Shadows of Everwinter, which are weak to physical, fire and quantum damage. A budget squad consisting of Pathfinder (Sushan), Asta, Dan Heng, and Natasha can also deal with these enemies. The main thing is to make sure that the heroes are pumped enough for this fight.

First of all, try to deal with ordinary mobs, using attacks that hit the area. After that, you can concentrate all your attention on Cyril. At the end, you will find the mysterious relic of the Supreme Guardian Belobog. No matter which option you choose, the ending of the quest will not change.

How to find a history specialist

Teleport to the Administrative District and head east. There, look for a girl named Manya, who is standing near the Serval workshop. Talk to her and show the relic. She will give you texts that tell about the life of Cyril.

This task will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive the text "Cyril the Dropout", 100 exploration experience, 100 shields, 7,000 credits, 30 star jade, and 3 adventure journals.
