In Honkai: Star Rail The Ever-Changing is a Hertha space station adventure mission in which you have to determine which Wen Mingde is the real one and defeat the dangerous monster Xenohydro. If you're having trouble starting and completing the quest, check out our guide.

How to start a task
We were able to get this quest immediately after reaching Mastery level 30, however, some sources indicate that in order to do this, it is also necessary to complete the mastery mission called "Poison boils, promises immortality." After that, you should receive a message from Wen Mingde asking for help.
Move to the Base zone of the Hertha station and talk to the right character who will stand behind the counter. Select the highlighted dialog option. He will tell you about the escaped monster and ask you to find Abraham.
Where to find Abraham
Travel to the "Outer Control Center Bay" anchor in the Storage Area, and then head to the southwest room. Here you will find the desired researcher surrounded by level 42 Void Legionnaires. They will be vulnerable to imaginary, wind, ice, quantum and fire damage.
With the right selection of characters of the right level, you can quickly deal with enemies. Having dealt with opponents, chat with the scientist and find out the reason for his disappearance. It turned out that he was sent here by Wen Mingde.
Identify the real and fake Wen Mingde
Before moving on to the next quest marker, prepare a squad capable of breaking through fire, wind and quantum vulnerabilities, since after the dialogue you will have to fight with a dangerous monster.
So, go back to the Base Zone and find the two Wen Mingde. You will need to determine which one is real. To do this, select the following answer options in the dialogs:
- Try to get it through.
- The one on the left?
After finding the real Wen Mingde, you have to fight the Xenohydro. However, even if you make a mistake, the battle will still take place. So your choice doesn't really affect anything (the quest reward will remain the same).
How to defeat Ice from space
You have to fight with an elite opponent of level 42. Its vulnerabilities are shown in the picture below. Break through his durability as quickly as possible, and then finish him off with any attacks. When using fire heroes with the right leveling, you will deal with him pretty quickly.
Unfortunately, even after defeating the xenohydro, he will manage to escape from you. This will complete the task. As a reward, you will receive 250 development experience, 50 hertariums, 8 rarefied ethers, 10 thousand credits and 40 star jade. Later, you will have access to the next mission called "Spirit Seekers".
