"Origin of the Medicine" - Companion mission in Honkai: Star Rail, during the passage of which you can get to know Natasha better. In addition, you will get the opportunity to help the girl save the inhabitants of the Underdark from a dangerous medicine that can harm their lives.
How to start the quest "Origin of the Medicine"
To gain access to the passage of the mission, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- Reach Mastery level 20;
- Complete Trial of Balance 1.
After that, you will receive a message from Oleg. The man will ask you to visit Natasha, which will launch the mission.
How to pass the quest "The Origin of the Medicine"
Talk to Natasha
Go to Natasha's Clinic located in Kamnegrad. During the conversation, the girl will ask you for help.
Find all patients
You will need to find three patients who refused treatment. The location of each of them will be marked with a quest marker. The first one will be waiting for you near the Fight Club. You will find the next patient on the way to the Grand Hotel Goethe. The last patient is standing near the stairs leading to the Snack Kiosk.
Check address
After talking with the third patient, you will have a choice: go to the place where the medicine is sold or tell Natasha about everything. The second option will allow you to skip this stage without any damage to the plot. If you decide to check the address yourself, head to the Abandoned Market in Zaklepkograd. There you will have a small conversation with a couple of tramps.
Talk to Patients
Return to the hospital to Natasha. She will invite you to talk to several people who have personally experienced the effects of the almighty "cure". Two of them will be right in the clinic. To meet the third girl, you will need to leave the hospital and go a little to the east. After all the dialogues, return to Natasha. There, you will agree to help her get rid of the miracle cure.
Find the source of the medicine
Travel to Zaklepkograd. There you will have to fight two rogues with fire, ice and imaginary vulnerabilities.
Next, inspect the place where the medicine is hidden. After exploring the boxes, you will need to fight a pair of beetle automatons and rogues. Enemies will have imaginary, electric, air, fire and ice vulnerabilities.
Talk to Natasha
Go back to the hospital. There you will stumble upon a scene explaining Natasha with angry patients. After that, approach the girl. You will have a chance to ask all the questions that may have arisen during the passage of the quest. This will complete the mission.

Completing the quest will reward you with 350 Assimilation XP, 60 Star Jades, 200 Shields, Adventure Logs, and Credits.
