In Honkai: Star Rail Like the morning dew is companion mission, during which you will need to find Bayla, who escaped from the guards of the Alchemy Commission. Walkthrough Companion Mission "Like the Morning Dew"
How to start a task
Access to it was opened on June 28, 2023 at 12:00 server time. Before you can take on its implementation, you will need to meet a couple of conditions, namely:
- Reach at least Mastery level 34.
- Complete the story mission called "Branching Horns and Tangled Roots" from the chain "Heavenly Journey on a Star Raft".
Having dealt with the specified requirements, wait for the arrival of a certain message on your phone. We advise you to move to another location or log out of your account and re-enter the game if Dahao, an employee of the Balance Commission, has not written to you yet.
Speak to Dahao at the Office of the Balance Commission
Teleport to the Exalted Shrine (Lofu Xianzhou) and head to the chancery, the entrance to which is located in the center of the location. Find Dahao inside and chat with him. If you haven't completed the Outlander Knight quest yet, the first dialogue with him will be related to Lochi's quest. To continue Bailu's mission, you need to ask this character about the dragon girl.
You will find out that the young lady has fled from her monastery, so she will ask you to find her and bring her back. This must be done as quietly and carefully as possible.
Find Bayla and help her hide
Exit the office and go up to the second tier of the location using the nearby stairs. Get to the marked area and approach the tables of the outdoor cafe. Near one of the tables you will find a healer who is talking about something with a girl you do not know. You will learn that it was Banxia who helped Bile escape in exchange for a favor.
However, they are trapped in the Exalted Sanctuary as they are pursued by the Alchemy Commission workers. You will need to help them escape from annoying alchemists. To do this, you will need to select one of three places (shown in the screenshots below):
- Near the table with people.
- Behind the wall, next to the open windows.
- Near the advertising board and fence.
Immediately go to the second place, as the rest will not suit you.
Find out the goals of the Alchemy Commission healer
After hiding the girls, move to the Zhomu Pavilion teleport and chat with the alchemist standing near it. You find out, he is looking for Banxia. Then you can choose any answer, since in any case you will have to fight with the interlocutor.
You will have to fight with the soldiers and internal alchemists struck by Mara. Their vulnerabilities are shown in the screenshot above. With the right selection of fighters (if necessary, you can retreat and change the composition of the team) and their proper pumping, you can deal with enemies without any problems.
How to get evidence
After dealing with the enemies, you will need to search them for evidence that you will need during your conversation with Banxia and Bailu. For the first clue, examine the pockets of his pants, then select:
- Front pockets... - You'll find a gold badge.
- Pockets on the back... - You will find a gold badge for the Sanctus Medicus Apprentice Letters.
Start looking for the second clue. To do this, look at the pockets of the jacket, and then select:
- Check your jacket pockets again - you will find a Strange Recipe.
- Wallet - you will find a Folded Photo.
Having obtained all four evidence, complete the examination and run to the girls.
What evidence to choose when talking with Bailu
Knock on the door and tell Bile it's all right. Then try to convince the dragon girl with your words. To do this, you will need to show her two pieces of evidence from the previously collected:
- Paper for the letters of the Disciples Sanctus Medicus.
- Weird recipe.
Next, we advise you to first ask Baylu's opinion, although this is not necessary, as by doing so you will be able to find out more information about Mara and the students of Sanctus Medicus. Next, chat with Banxia to find out her real goals.
Embark on Guanda's star skiff
Return to the entrance to the office and chat with Guanda there. Next up is a test where you can face inner alchemists and soldiers afflicted by Mara. So choose the right team for this "dungeon".
Find evidence left behind by a patient
Walk forward, and at the fork, turn left and go up the stairs. Then go to the containers and watch the new cutscene. By the way, it is not necessary to fight with the enemies you meet.
Approach the metal platform with the crate, located directly opposite Bailu, and click on the "Inspect" button. You will find a message to convey to the dragon girl.
Head to the next meeting point
Walk forward and go down the stairs down and to the right. Then turn left and go down the steps even lower. Here you will most likely have to fight a group of opponents (their vulnerabilities are shown in the screenshot below).
After descending, go to the container ahead and look for the second Liangmu message. Watch the new video. Here you will find a new battle with internal alchemists (their vulnerabilities are shown in the picture below). After the battle, chat with Susie. You will then be escorted to safety.
Head to the next meeting point bypassing the Cloud Knights
Move forward by going down the stairs and then turn left and interact with the controller. Choose an option "Move Right"
. Walk forward, use the second panel and click on "Move Left"

Now go up the stairs to the top. You will not be let through. You will need to find a disguise - for this you will have to change into the armor of the Cloud Knights. Turn left near the stairs and approach the lying warriors, and then press the button "Inspect"

Watch the new cutscene and then follow Banxia. There will be a new cut-scene. Next, you will need to move away to allow Banxia to go alone. It is not necessary to fight with opponents who walk nearby.
Where to find Beloved Banxia
When you hear the screams, go back. Unfortunately, Banxia has lost her mind, so you will have to kill her. We are talking about an ordinary soldier, struck by Mara.
After dealing with the enemy, go up the stairs to the left, and then turn right, and you will find the right character on the pier. Enter into a dialogue with him. During a conversation with a guy, you can tell him the truth or lie (the achievement will depend on this):
- Bansia was the monster smitten by Mara - you will receive an additional task and unlock the achievement "Where does the wanderer seek shelter?".
- Banxia was busy and could not find time to meet - you will complete the task and open the Memory of Old Acquaintances trophy.
Go to Banxia's body
This task will be available to you if you tell Lyanmu the truth. Take the man to the girl's body. He will tell you about his true motives. You can choose any dialogue options, as they do not affect the ending of the quest. By the way, you can beat him if you want.
At the end, talk to Bailu again. This is the end of her mission. As a reward, you will receive 450 development experience, 100 star jade, 110 thousand credits, 5 refined ethers, 5 traveler's guides and the composition "Into the Bread".
