How to start a task
You will be able to take on its passage during the mission "Game of the Rich". After another conversation with Lanoir and Caterpillar, rest on the bed, and the next morning study the board and go to the post office. There, talk to December and agree to help him. After this, the corresponding quest should appear in your journal.
Should I send a Letter to December or not?
You will automatically take your place in line and then hear two men talking behind you. One of them will tell you that December tried to send a Letter three times, but he never managed to do it.
You will understand that December forgot the necessary Letter, but what did he give you then? You will open the envelope and find in it a love note from a certain young lady, which is addressed to Nevillet. Next, you will need to decide whether to consult with December about the letter or send it anyway (first option). You can choose any action, since it does not affect anything.
Exit the post office
Go up the stairs and talk to the quest giver. He will tell you that one of his friends asked him to send this Letter . The man will note that he still hopes to have time to send a note for his son, and then he will run away.
