How to start a task
To receive the quest you need to complete two tasks:
- New Horizons of Adventure – to open daily events in the Hydro region.
- Some kind of seal – in order to meet Ayun.
After this, the daily can appear in your journal any day. To bring this moment closer, select Fontaine in the errands section of your Traveler's Handbook.
First, let's look at the version of the task that all players encounter for the first time.
Help Ayun
A man sits on a bench northwest of the Cour de Fontaine and eats French fries. His break is interrupted by seagulls trying to steal his food.
Your task is to approach the birds standing in different places nearby and drive them away. You just need to get closer to them, but if you kill them, this will not particularly affect the progress of the task - moreover, in this case it will be enough to deal with one bird. The location of the seagulls may vary slightly from time to time - below we have listed the places where they can appear. All of them are located near the Ayun bench.
Talk to Ayun
Return to the man and talk to him. In the dialogue you will have two answer options: advise him to get a dog or dine somewhere else. Your choice will have very little impact on the next assignment you receive.
Second option
Ayun will be sitting in the same place with the same problem. If you offered him to get a dog, it will sit next to you - but it won’t do any good. This time you will have the option to feed the seagulls, but you can again chase them away or kill them if you want.
Once you get to the desired location, you can leave food there for the birds. Ayun will thank you and give you a reward, which will end the quest.

Completing any version of the assignment will give you standard rewards:
- 10 Primogems
- 2775–6575 pestilence
- 25–60 friendship experience
- 175–250 adventure experience
- 1-4 Superior/Magic Augment Ore
