In Genshin Impact "Foggy Forest Path" is the first part of the quest chain "Wild Fairy Erinyes". As part of it, you have to go into the thicket of the forest in the hope of finding treasures there. Next, we will tell you how to start this mission, and where to find all the drops to solve the mystery of the altar.
How to start the quest “Foggy Forest Path”
Head to the small fountain near Marcotte station. Near one of the statues standing around the perimeter, you will find a stone tablet. Read the inscription on it to start the mission.

Follow the path leading southeast from the Epicles Opera House. You will eventually find a mysterious altar deep in the forest.
After interacting with it, you will learn that you need to find three drops of pure dew. To get them, you need to solve several puzzles with bacterial mucus and reed pipes. Their general position is indicated below.
First drop
Go to the stream in the northwestern part of the highlighted area. Take the ability of the xenochrome octopus from the pedestal standing nearby. Nearby you will see a contaminated clot. To clear the slime, aim a borrowed skill at it while holding the skill button. At the end of the process, several hydro slimes will appear in front of you. To switch back to hero skills, simply press the appropriate key.
After this, two bubbles will appear in front of you. Using the octopus's skill, move them closer to the reed pipes standing in the stream bed. As a result, the tubes should be in the area of effect of the spheres. Burst them in turn: first, located next to the instrument with one symbol, and then the other, hanging near a pair of pipes with two symbols. After this, the first drop of dew will fly to the altar.
Second drop
Head to the area a little north of the altar. There you will need to destroy two clots already. If you suddenly lose the octopus ability, you can pick it up on the nearby pedestal.
Two bubbles will appear again. Move one sphere towards the second to create one large ball. Pop it. This way you can simultaneously activate all three pipes with the same symbols at the “Upstairs”. At this moment, the second drop of dew will go to the altar.
Third drop
Go to the river in the southeast of the area. There you will need to remove two stains in turn. This must be done quickly, otherwise the newly restored clot will regenerate and you will have to start the cleansing all over again. Here, as in other places, there is a pedestal with the ability of an octopus.
Rearrange the bubbles that appear so that when they explode, they touch the tubes in the desired order. An approximate position is shown below.
Return to the altar
Make your way back to the mysterious pedestal after the third dew drop returns to it. You will find an unfamiliar object on it. Pick it up. At this moment, you will begin a dialogue with the suddenly approached melusina. This will complete the task.

Upon completion of the quest, you will receive 40 Primogems, Adventure EXP, Mora, Experience Books, and a Magic Reinforcement Ore. You will also have access to the next quests in the chain, “The Withering Weeping Willow” and “The Furious Lake at the Spring.”
