In Genshin Impact The Pursuit is two of the same name quests from Fontaine's world, which takes place in a mysterious space that can be reached through the Book of Revelation. How to start a task
Before you can take on this mission, you will need to meet a couple of conditions, namely:
- Complete the world quest "Book of Esoteric Revelations".
- Finish the task "Through the Secret Mirror".
Having dealt with these requirements, open the clock in the Paimon menu and scroll through the game time two days ahead (that is, to the day after tomorrow). Then return to the Very Warm Place and the Book of Revelation. You should see a blue exclamation mark above it. Interact with the book and click on the "Read" option to move to another space.
Note: If the exclamation mark does not appear, then try waiting 4 days, and wait one day at a time, and not the maximum two.
How to follow the shadow
Once in the mysterious area, go a little forward to the barrier, and you will see the figure of Caterpillar on the right, but you will not be able to reach it directly. Walk along the left side, and then turn right to the place where the boy was.
The child will disappear, and the structure of the barriers will change. You will see that the Caterpillar has moved to the upper level. Go back a little and then go up the unlocked steps. Having risen, do not rush to run to the boy - first pick up the Lost Bouquet on the other side (it will be useful to you later).
Now you can go to the child, who will disappear again. Run further, interact with the cube and place the bouquet you found earlier in it to remove the grate. Climb the stairs to the third tier. You can't get to Caterpillar on the left, so enter the secret mirror on the right.
How to follow the light
As a result, you will find yourself on the other side and will be able to enter into dialogue with the boy. After the strange conversation, use the four air currents to follow the red spirit. Land on the stone platform where you will see Caterpillar talking to a dog.
The dog will ask you to leave, and then forcefully expel you from this dimension. This will take you back to the cave where Paimon is waiting for you. This will bring the first part of the chain to an end. As a reward, you will receive 250 adventure points, 30 primogems, 30 thousand mora and 2 hero books.
Walkthrough of the quest "Wild Escape 2" in Genshin Impact
To start this quest, move to some other location and rewind the game time again to the day after tomorrow (we recommend rewinding one day at a time, not two at once). Then return to the book of revelations, over which the exclamation mark should again appear.
How to continue searching
Click on the inscription "Read"
to go into the mysterious space again. Almost immediately you will find Canotilu ahead, not far from the cliff. Talk to her. She will refuse to leave this place.
After the conversation, Melusina will disappear and appear a little ahead, on another stone path. Chat with her again. Then go forward to the purple rift and about halfway turn to the left edge of the cliff and look down - there you will see Caterpillar surrounded by barriers. Jump down and then enter the purple mirror.
You will find yourself in a small room where you need to enter the second portal. When you exit you will be faced with outcast hilichurl, who will immediately attack you. Engage in a fight with him. When his health is reduced to about half, the enemy will disappear and you can move on.
Use the purple rift to fly up and fly up to Canotila, with whom you need to talk again. Enter the next portal and fly to the opposite side. Go forward to the boy behind the barrier, and then use the mirror on the right.
You will find yourself in an empty space - run to the mirror opposite. When the floor suddenly disappears, use the air current and fly to the portal “Upstairs”. On the other side you will again have to fight the outcast.
Get to the source of the sounds
Then fly into the air current and fly to the purple rift hanging above the floating stones. It will take you to the air flow. Next, start flying through similar streams and rings to get to a stone platform with a sunflower.
On this floating island you will also find Canotila and a dog. Fight the rogue who attacked your friend, and then chat with the dog again. At the end you can read the "Record" near the sunflower, and then go through the purple Achievement: Chasm.
You will return to the cave with the book of revelations. Chat with Melusine again. She won't use the book anymore. This will bring the second part of the quest to an end. As a reward, you will receive 250 adventure points, 30 primogems, 30 thousand mora and 2 hero books. In addition, you will have access to the “Happy Birthday” mission.
