In Genshin Impact The Hook’s Unexpected Adventure is daily errand Sumeru, during which you will again have to help Kayvan with collecting materials for bait. Completing the quest “The Hook’s Unexpected Adventure”
How to start a daily
Before you can begin to implement it, you will need to meet several conditions, namely:
- Unlock the errand system in Sumeru by completing the task "Adventure Takes Courage".
- Finish the daily "Unbeatable “The Catch”".
- Complete the world quest called "Cost-Effective Hook".
However, even after you have dealt with all the above requirements, the corresponding mission will not automatically appear in your log, since the daily missions in the game are random. So it can fall out to you either the next day or a month later.
When you finally get the quest you need, go to the teleport in Port Ormos and run to its northern part. On the pier you will find Kayvan and Helbet. They will need new bait materials and may ask you to bring one of three resources, which will affect your next task. We will consider all three scenarios.
Option 1: Padisarah
Fishermen will ask you for three common materials (that is, you won’t have to look for any special items found only in certain places):
- Padisarah x1
- Sunsettia x1
- Wheat x1
Note that padisars can be purchased from Jute in the Grand Bazaar located in the capital Sumeru. Here you can also find merchants selling wheat, if you suddenly do not have this kitchen ingredient in your inventory. Once you hand over the items and listen to the new dialogue, the quest will come to an end.
Option 2: Fresh Harrah Fruit
Unfortunately, regular fruit won't do the trick, so head to the teleporter on top of the mountain southwest of your current location, then head down a little further south. Here, take out the group of hilichurls and one mitachurl, and then pick up 3 fresh harra fruits from the ground near the tree.
Now return to Kayvan and give him the fruit, wheat and Sunsettia. Once you do this and listen to the new dialogue, the quest will come to an end.
Option 3: Special Sweet Flower
Unfortunately, a regular Sweet Flower won't work for you, so travel to the teleporter on top of the mountain southwest of your current location, and then glide down in the east direction where the marker points. Here you will find a group of enemies, consisting of molders and one pestilence.
Deal with all the enemies, and then pick up a Special Sweet Flower that drops from the pestilence. Return to Kayvan and give him the bud, wheat and Sunsettia. Once you do this and listen to the new dialogue, the quest will come to an end. Please note that you will receive the standard daily reward (depending on your adventure rank).
