In Genshin Impact Our Chenyu Vale Trek is task of the world, during which you will take part in a landscape photography competition taking place in the Chenyu Valley. You will be required to take four photographs following certain conditions. If you have problems receiving and completing the quest, then study our guide.
Passage of the quest “Our Chenyu Vale Trek”
How to start a task
Before you can take on this quest, you will need to complete the mission "Three Expectations". After this, move to Yilong Port and go southeast from the teleport. Go up to the second floor, and then talk to Fang Ju, who should have an exclamation mark hanging over her head.
While chatting with a girl, agree to participate in a landscape photography competition, which is aimed at increasing the popularity of the Chenyu Valley among tourists.
How to Take Landscape Photos of Chengyu Valley
Four markers will appear on the map, indicating areas where you can take photos of the desired scenery. Let us note that it is not enough just to photograph a place - you also need to meet a number of conditions, for example, wait for a certain time of day or ensure that a certain object is included in the frame.
You can find out the requirements from the document "Chenyu Vale Scenery Guide", which will be added to your inventory after talking with Fang Ju. You will find it in the "Task" section. If you are too lazy to delve into all this, then just read our instructions below.
Qiaoying Village
Move to the village and go to the river. There you will find a girl and a pelican - approach them to start a conversation. When the conversation ends, go to the highlighted point and change the time to afternoon (15:00-17:00).
Now click on the inscription "Calling the Pelicans"
and select an option “Hr-r-y! E-e-n...”
to attract the bird. Next, go to photography mode through the main menu. Make sure there are green checkmarks next to all conditions before taking a photo.
If you meet all the requirements, a photo of "Guests from Qiaoying" will be added to your backpack, and the quest objectives will indicate that you have completed 1/4 of the assigned task.
Tea Tree Slope
Teleport to the indicated area, and then go down northeast to the river bank. Here you will find a group of Hydro and Cryo slimes that will need to be destroyed. Electro and Pyro fighters will deal with them the fastest.
If necessary, scroll the time by period from 19:00 to 20:00. Next, stand in the highlighted point, select the photo mode, make sure that all the conditions are checked, and then take a photo. The photo “Lotus Pond Under the Moon” should appear in your inventory.
Yaode Valley
Climb the mountain located in the southern part of the indicated location (we advise you to plan from Mount Aotsang in the south). Once you enter the marked area, you will hear someone's voice. To the right you will see Akai, who was attacked by hilichurls.
Deal with the opponents and talk to the man. He will thank you and point out the best place for filming. Set the clock to interval from 17:00 to 18:00 and stand at the point where the light is pointing. Go into photo mode, make sure all the conditions are checked, and then take a photo. The “Xuanlian Mountain” photo should appear in your inventory.
Jade vent
Move to the marked area and run east to the highlighted area. Climb to the top of the boulder that the marker will point to. The exact location is shown in the pictures below.
If necessary, scroll the time between 08:00 and 10:00, and then go into photo mode, make sure all the conditions are checked, and take a photo. The Tranquil Precious Jade snapshot should appear in your inventory.
Go to an exhibition of the best works
After taking all the photos, return to Yilong Port and chat with Fang Ju again, who will be waiting for you at the same counter as before. She will praise you for the work you have done, but you will not be able to know the results right now.
Wait until tomorrow or just scroll the time between 08:00 and 18:00. Then go to the central part of the port settlement. Watch a short video. You will win the competition.
Your prize will be the “Our Chenyu Vale Trek” Album”, in which you can admire the best photographs. Once you close it, the mission will come to an end.
As a reward, you will receive 250 adventure points, 30 primogems, 30 thousand mora and 2 hero books. Plus, you will have an achievement "Chenyu Vale Sights".
