The Trees At Peace in Honkai Star Rail: How to Find Mosaic Pieces

    Zorthrus

In Honkai: Star Rail The Trees At Peace is adventure mission Penaconia, where you will learn the story of the sage Chadwick. To do this, you will have to awaken his lost memories, decide whether to press the start button, and also find fragments of the dream mosaic and assemble it. If you have difficulties receiving and completing the quest, then study our guide.

Walkthrough of the mission "The Trees At Peace" in Honkai: Star Rail

    How to start a task

Before you can undertake its implementation, you have to meet a couple of conditions, namely:

Having dealt with these requirements, move to the spatial anchor “Family Construction Bureau” located on the Dream Boundary, and then go a little north and talk to Chadwick sitting on the bench (there should be an exclamation mark above his head).

How to replenish Chadwick's emote face and find the Anger gear

Your conversation with the kind old man will be interrupted by a hound. Then Chasik will appear - chat with him. Interact with the older man again and select an option "Start the Clockwork" . You will see that it is missing the Wrath gear. If available, activate the emoticon face.

Note: If you do not have the required part, then go east from the teleport in this location and approach the three dream-makers. Then click on the button "Absorb the Emotion" , and you will receive the Wrath gear. The pictures below show their location.

You will find out that the old man was a member of the Society of Geniuses and ask Gerta about this. Then, travel to Gerta's office on her space station and chat with the two geniuses. Tell them about Chadwick.

How to find evidence of Chadwick's presence in the room

Return to Penaconia and talk to Skrullum again. Then talk to Ellie. You will be allowed to visit Chadwick's room. Move to the “VIP Lounge”, go up to the upper level and approach Moira.

Upon entering the room, examine the suitcase, the dream bowl and the fireplace to collect all the necessary evidence. The professor himself will not be here. After this, talk to the genius again. You will receive from him a Medicine of unknown purpose.

How to Reawaken Chadwick's Lost Memories

Return to the Dream Boundary and chat with the old man. Next, launch his emo dial and enter the emo environment. Before the start of the test, we advise you to prepare your team by taking fire, physical and/or ice damage dealers, as you will have fights with monsters.

Once at the station, run forward to the crowd of people. After the conversation, take the elevator and go down. Go to the next memory. You will encounter a group of stingbugs. Their vulnerabilities are shown in the picture below. Having dealt with your opponents, run further to the door. Go inside, go downstairs and approach the trio of scientists.

Then go down the stairs to Skryullum and Chadwick. Continue forward towards the quest markers. When you enter the corridor, you will be attacked by KMM base personnel. The enemy vulnerabilities are shown in the picture below. Approach Chadwick again.

Start an imaginary pulse or do not press the button

Enter the room and go to the console. Dudley will tell you to press the button and you will have a choice:

    • If I don’t press it, unfortunately, even if this option is selected, the explosion will still occur, since the past cannot be changed.
    • Press the start button and the countdown to the explosion will begin.

How to find the third piece of the puzzle

After the explosion, go to the emo environment (floor 2), interacting with the painting. Go ahead, click on the button and chat with the researcher. Then go further and interact with the mosaic. Three fragments from it will immediately fly away in different directions. Start searching for the first of them.

Go to the left side of the room, press the button, interact with the golden bowl to get 2 dream bubbles, and then activate the golden bridge on the right side. Once on the wall, activate the first bridge on the left and you will reach the desired fragment.

How to find the second piece of the puzzle

Head back to the bowl to replenish your bubbles, then return to the wall and go to the far bridge on the left. Use it, go up the stairs and pick up the next fragment.

How to find the first puzzle piece

From the previous part, go down the steps, picking up the bubbles from the bowl, and then activate the bridge ahead. Once on the wall, run to the far bridge on the right and use it. Here you will find the first fragment.

How to put together a mosaic with Skrullum

Go back down and interact with the bowl to refill the dream bubbles. Then activate the springboard opposite the fountain. Click on the button and return to the picture on the right side.

Click on the mosaic and place the missing pieces in it, as shown in the screenshots below. Don't forget that you can rotate the pieces in the painting so that they fit correctly into the desired grooves.

    Find clues in the office

Once in another room, chat with Chadwick again. Then you will need to inspect the room. To do this, interact with the table, the safe on the left side and the stack of books on the right. Then talk to the old man again.

Then, together with Skryullum, you will need to accompany Chadwick on his final journey. After receiving the message from the genius, move to the second floor of the Isolated Zone (select the Furnace of Life) at the Gerta station, go up the stairs and open the door on the left. Here you will find Gerta and Skrullum.

At the end you will need to turn off the life support machines. At this point, the task will come to an end, and you will unlock the achievement “A shield of good deeds will cover a person.” As a reward, you will also receive 350 Mastery Points, 50 Star Jades, 80 thousand credits, 5 Traveler's Guides, 5 Lost Crystals, 5 Refined Ether, 360 Hour Credits and a “Scientist” sticker.
