    Zorthrus

In Dragon's Dogma 2 Medicament Predicament is a side quest in which you will need to help a girl named Flora get fruit pills. There are several ways to do this. As a reward, you will receive a unique ring and the “Healer” specialization. If you have any difficulties receiving and completing this task, then study our guide.

Walkthrough of the quest "Medicament Predicament" in Dragon's Dogma 2

    How to start the quest

Travel to the village of Melve during the main story mission "In the Footsteps of the Dragon". After watching the cutscene with Ulrika, leave her house and get to the pharmacy located directly opposite the hotel. Near the entrance you will find a girl named Flora. Chat with her and choose an answer "Offer assistance" to take on this task.

    How to get fruit pills

You can obtain these healing agents in different ways, from purchasing them to crafting them yourself. Next we will look at each of these methods separately.

    Buy fruit pills

The simplest, but at the same time most expensive, method is to purchase the necessary items from a pharmacist. Go inside the building where the child is standing and chat with the man behind the counter. In the “Medicines” section you will find the medical product you need, which will cost 600 gold coins.

At the initial stage of the game, this amount will be very significant, so we do not advise you to spend it - it is better to use other methods of obtaining the necessary item.

    Make Fruit Pills

You can create them yourself using one of the following recipes:

    • Dried fruits + Greenfinch (Morning flower)
    • Ripe fruit (apple or grape) + Brown bark

Ordinary fruits can be found in the vicinity of the village - then you need to wait 1-1.5 days (pass the time on the bench) for them to receive the “Ripe” prefix in the name. Now you can combine them with the bark that you find on trees - it looks like a shiny bulge.

Dried fruits can be bought from a traveling merchant standing near Ulrika’s house (the pictures below show its location). You will need to pay 350 coins per piece. As for the greenfinch, it grows in large quantities around the area, so you'll probably find a few on your way to Melva. Morningflower grows near Border Town.

Having obtained the necessary items, open your inventory, select the greenfinch and click on the “Combine” option. Then click on the dried fruits to create a fruit pill.

Find the fruit pill in the chest

You can also find the desired item in the chest. To do this, head northeast of the village along the main road, and soon, not far from the path, you will find a chest standing at the foot of a cliff. Be careful, as it may be guarded by goblins, wolves, or harpies, so be sure to only go there with pawns.

    Give me the fruit pills

Having obtained the necessary medicine in one way or another, return to Flora, who will still be waiting for you near the pharmacy, and then give her the pills. She will thank you and give you a Ring of Rejoicing, which slightly increases the wearer's maximum lifespan. This will be the end of the task - you will also receive 500 experience points and 100 gold as a reward, but the girl’s story does not end there.

Where to find Flora the second time

Continue through the main story until you reach the large town of Vernworth. Then head to the Shopping District. In front of the steps you will meet an old friend. She will decide to escort you to her grandfather Oriol, who is standing behind a counter nearby.

Chat with him - he'll thank you for your help and offer a 20 percent discount on all his products. Note that you can purchase various healing items from him, including an antidote.

Don't forget to talk to Flora again, who is standing nearby. The point is that she decides to give you Scroll "Healer". We are talking about a specialization that you can give your pawn so that it can perform additional actions. In this case, she will be able to treat not only herself, but also you with consumables and buffs.
