How to start a task

First you will need to get to Vernworth - just follow the story quest "Throne of the Lord". Captain Brant will stop you near the entrance to the city, and then chat with you in the guardhouse. After talking with him, go outside and head to the eastern entrance of the Stardrop Inn.

Don't go into the establishment - instead, take a good look around, and you will immediately notice a girl in a hat looking around. As soon as you get close to her, a dialogue will begin. She will ask you to look after her house. She won't be able to refuse. After this, the corresponding task starts.

Where to find Mildred's house

A mark will appear on the map indicating the location of the girl’s home. Don't forget to prioritize the quest in your quest log for the corresponding indicator to appear. The required building is located in the commons quarter. Near the entrance to it you will find Mildred - talk to her again.

The girl will be happy to see you. When she asks if you are ready to live in her house, agree to her request. From now on, you can use Mildred's home by sleeping in it and storing things in the chest.

How to buy a house Mildred

So, the girl left town for a week, so you will need to live in her house for 7 days. You can simply waste this time by sleeping in the new home for the required number of days, but we still do not advise you not to do this, especially if there are other quests, since some of them may end in failure.

For this reason, just go about your business, and soon you will have a quest update - it will indicate that Mildred has returned and wants to talk with you. Go to her house and talk to the girl. She will tell you that she liked the places she visited so she wants to move there.

Of course, she doesn’t need this house now, but she can’t just give it away, but she’s ready to sell it at a big discount. You will have to pay her exactly 20,000 gold if you want to get this home. Please note that it is not necessary to give a positive answer right away - Mildred will continue to wait for your decision near the house.

We strongly recommend that you purchase this home as soon as possible. There are several reasons for this. Firstly, you will complete the quest (+500 experience points) and unlock the achievement "House? And this is called saving?. Secondly, you will no longer have to pay for an overnight stay in hotels that charge at least 1 thousand coins per night.

Thirdly, you will be able to receive various gifts from your friends, which they will leave in bags attached near the door (see screenshot above). For example, from Brant we were able to obtain the extremely powerful blade Tempered Virtue. Fourthly, you can use your personal Storage at any time.
