Disa’s Plot in Dragon's Dogma 2: where to find evidence

    Zorthrus

In Dragon's Dogma 2 Disa’s Plot is a story quest in which you will have to sneak into Wernworth Castle at night and find evidence of her evil intent in the regent's office. If you have any difficulties receiving and completing the task, then study our guide. We will also tell you what to do if you haven't found or lost your Torn Letter.

Walkthrough of the quest "Disa’s Plot" in Dragon's Dogma 2

    How to start a task

When completing a story quest "Throne of the Lord" you will be taken to the city of Vernworth, where you will immediately meet with Captain Brant. He will want to chat with you again in the tavern, but only at night. Head to the Stardrop establishment, the location of which is shown in the pictures below.

Once inside, you will see Brant near the bar. If he is not here, then try to scroll forward in time by talking with the innkeeper Glenna and selecting the option "Pass the time" . Chat with the captain. He will want to talk to you alone, so he will step aside - follow him.

During the next dialogue, the captain will say that you need to gain fame and supporters in the city, so he will offer to complete several tasks. Select an option "Tell me about the regent", and then take on the mission to start the corresponding quest. From Brant you will receive the key to the dungeon.

Where to find evidence of Disa's malice

It will be possible to enter the castle only at night, so wait until nightfall by sleeping in a hotel (or your house), sitting on a bench, or gossiping in a tavern. Next, start moving to the southern part of the city, passing through the nobles' quarter. Near the entrance to the fortress territory, you will be met by Sonya, a guard working for Brant.

Start following the girl. Sonya will lead you to the side entrance to the castle. If anything, we showed the right place in the first two screenshots below. Enter the building and you will find yourself in the Guardhouse. Open the chest on the right to get Travel armor – wear it for camouflage.

Note: If you behave suspiciously (take out a weapon, start entering all the rooms or attack the guards) you will be caught and put behind bars. In this case, you will either have to pay 10 thousand gold as a bribe, or try to pick the lock (if you don't have the key). Or you can create a backup save and use it to replay the quest.

Now exit the guardhouse and immediately turn right into a spacious hall. Don't linger in it, continuing to run forward to the other side. In just a couple of seconds you will see a stone staircase ahead - climb it to the second floor of the castle.

Next you will need to get into Office, located in the southwestern part of the second floor. To do this, continue moving forward, and when you get into a large room with several passages, turn left. Take a few steps and open the door on the right side to enter the desired room.

Note: If you hear someone's voices coming from the room, then wait until Disa and her bodyguard come out of it, and only then go into the office.

After entering the room, go to the desk on the right, on which you will notice a highlighted Torn Letter, and pick it up. Immediately after this, your old friend Sven will appear. It is now that you find out that he is actually Disa's son. The young man will want to help you - he will distract the guards, giving you the opportunity to safely leave the castle.

To do this, turn around and jump out the open window. You will find yourself on the roof, from which you will slide down onto the stone ledge below. Now just jump down onto the stairs even lower, to which you previously ran with Sonya. Next, all you have to do is leave the castle grounds by turning right and passing through a large passage.

At the end, return to Brant, who will be waiting for you in the Stardrop in his usual place. Give him the letter. Apparently it was sent from Battal. This will bring the task to an end. As a reward, you will receive 1200 experience points, 6500 gold and an awakening stone (allows you to resurrect dead characters).

What to do if there is no torn letter

If you did not take the letter, but it is not on the table, then try re-entering the game first. If this does not help, then we can only advise loading an earlier save from the hotel or using a backup save.

If you took the letter, but accidentally sold it or threw it away, we advise you to go to Ibrahim's hardware store, located in Border City. The fact is that he often has important quest items that you could unknowingly get rid of.

You can get to this settlement using a cart in the west of Vernworth. Before traveling to another city, we recommend that you inspect your Vault (at home or in a hotel), since it is possible that you could have thrown a piece of paper there.
