In Honkai: Star Rail Soldier’s Pay is Development mission and part of the quest chain "Farewell Penaconia" during which you have to find the Pathfinder on the Radiant Spar, playing as Firefly. Walkthrough of the mission "Soldier’s Pay" in Honkai: Star Rail
How to start a task
This quest starts automatically after completing the last mission of the chain called “Life floats by like a dream”. After watching the cutscene with Jasper and Topaz negotiating with Oti, you will immediately switch to Firefly, who secretly made her way to Radiant Spar.
Where to find the Good Jasper pawn shop
Once on the ship, go to the center of the location, marked with a yellow circle. To do this, walk around the pool and then go left or right from the elevator to go inside the dining room. There you will find Robin. Approach her. You will see the Pathfinder walking up the stairs. Then approach the flight attendant and ask her about where the pawn shop is located.
Where to find the Pathfinder for the first time
This task is optional, however, completing it will unlock the achievement "Go your own way", which in turn will block access to the achievement "On the road". You can meet with the Pathfinder three times per mission. Any meeting and “conversation” with him will lead to the opening of an achievement. Next we will tell you where you can find this character.
So, go up the stairs and turn left. Once up, walk forward past the pool table and you will see a Pathfinder ahead, talking about something with an Erudroid and standing next to a slot machine. Approach him and try to enter into dialogue.
Talk to Good Jasper
After chatting with the Pathfinder or losing sight of him, go through the door in the main hall marked with a marker, and then go down the stairs to the Wardroom. Enter the door on the right and chat with Jasper.
The owner of the pawnshop will refuse Firefly, noting that she does not understand what the essence of the “collateral” is, so she will recommend that she watch her other clients.
Where to find the Pathfinder the second time
If you missed the Pathfinder earlier, then, after leaving Jasper's pawn shop, you can meet him in the Wardroom - he will be standing with Dan Heng near a lot of inflatable balls. Try to talk to him if you want to unlock the above achievement, or pass by.
How are things going with Jasper's clients?
Move to the "Main Banquet Hall" and then go up to the second floor. There you will find Jasper's first client.
Stacy - Win the Paper Duel
Approach Stacy. The girl wished Jasper good luck. You need to help her defeat the man in the "Paper Duel". To do this you need to get at least 10 points. We are talking about the game “three in a row”, or rather one of its forms.
You need to move the icons to form rows of three or more fruits. The picture below shows which figures need to be moved to get the required number of points. As a result, you will defeat the overconfident player. Watch the video.
Dell
Return to the first floor and go to the bow of the ship. Approach the two pepeshi. Dell made a deal with Jasper and received a necklace from her, which helped him begin a relationship with Dorothy.
Walker
Run further north and find an erudroid named Walker. Approach him and watch another video. Then interact with Walker again. He was able to catch the criminal after receiving information from Jasper. You will understand that the dreams of the pawn shop owner's clients have truly come true.
Where to find the Pathfinder for the third time
In the video with Walker you will see the Pathfinder from March 7th. You can immediately go to them at the bow of the ship or listen to the detective before that. If you do not want to receive the “Go your own way” achievement, then under no circumstances approach express members. Otherwise, try talking to old acquaintances.
What happens if you don't talk to the Pathfinder
If you avoid the Pathfinder all three times, you will eventually receive another trophy - "On the road". They also give 10 star jades for it. You won't be able to get two achievements at once, so decide in advance which one you like best.
Discuss discoveries with Jasper
So, after observing Jasper’s clients, return to her pawnshop on the -1st floor. Jasper will tell you what exactly all these people gave her as collateral. After a long conversation, the task will come to an end.
As a reward, you will receive 200 mastery points, 30 star jades, 20 thousand credits, 100 hour credits, 2 traveler's guides and 2 lost crystals. You will have access to the next task - “A Thousand Bells Ringing at Dawn.”
