How to start
You can't just open this quest - you first need to pick up a leaf with green edges, which is lying on the boxes near the teleport in the tribe Descendants of Kron .
After that, we go to the teleport in the Tekvemekan Valley (use the spreading tree with a turquoise crown as a landmark). On the map, not far from this tree, we see a crevice, we head towards it and go down, in a small cave with a cauldron you will see an uncertain girl. Go up to her to automatically start a dialogue.
Her name is Poka, she is a courier from the Descendants of Kron, and she will tell us that in the cave below us there are roots of the Mother Flame Grenades, which are guarded by her friend. She is worried about him, because the guard did not show up at the appointed time, but she cannot go down to him, because she does not have a pass (the same leaf with green edges that we picked up at the beginning). Therefore, the Traveler volunteers to help Poka and visit Tizok. The girl suggests that he cheat, pretending that this Pass Permit was given to us by the leader of the Descendants of Kron tribe, since the guard takes his job very seriously, because the flame grenades are needed for the Mountain King. She promises to wait for us under the Mother Tree.
Enter the cave and find the missing Tizok.
We go down into the cave and see a man lying down, we approach him to automatically start the cutscene. This is Tizoc - the guard of this place and the best specialist in flame grenades, he will thank us and tell us that he fainted due to a sharp change in temperature in the cave. He will quickly figure out our trick, knowing about the peculiarity of this pass and will promise to give Poke a thrashing. But the guard, worried about the state of the flame grenades, will take into account the strength and status of the Traveler and ask for help in sorting out the condition of the fruits.
Explore the roots of the flame garnet
Tizoc believes the problem lies in the plant's roots, so he calls us deeper into the caves. There, he immediately understands what the problem is: solidified lava is blocking the rest of the flow, so we must find a way to blow up the magma wall.
Break the frozen magma
To do this, you need to turn into a yumkasaurus and pick up a flame grenade fruit, which can be thrown like a bomb. We come closer to the wall and aim at the cracks, after which it will explode.
Be careful: Yumkasaurus cannot swim, Look Out Below! while in this Saurian form, otherwise you will quickly drown.
Move forward
After the explosion, an entrance to another cave filled with water will open. Turn into a yumkasaurus to interact with the detachable hook and activate the plates on which we can move without falling into the water.
Reach the opposite bank where a lone Ruin Guard sits. Fight him to get a rich chest and unlock the path. Ahead there will be a room blocked by a grate with a precious chest, a jumkazvar mark and a mechanism and a ladder.
We go up the stairs, find ourselves on a platform with an activation plate and a wall strewn with phlogiston crystals that need to be blown up (you can use an archer for this, since their explosion causes huge damage), then interact with the mechanism.
The grate that covered the chest will rise, but another one will fall, blocking us. Thanks to the exploded wall, we will be able to leave the trap, take the chest and fill the mechanism in the previously blocked room with phlogiston so that it creates a path from the "Seals of the Coiled Grass", along which we can reach the other end of the flooded cave in the form of a yumkasaurus.
Break the frozen magma
At the end of the cave we will be met by a magma barrier again. In the form of a yumkasaurus we raise the flame grenade twice to hit two targets on the wall. After that a cutscene will begin with a chain of explosions in the cave system, and the path will be clear.
Go to the lower level of the flame garnet's root system
Finally, we reach the roots of the Mother Flamegarnet, beneath which the phlogiston flows. Tizoc explains that the fruits could not ripen because the magma had drained away, leaving the roots without the necessary phlogiston.
Find a way to increase the level of liquid phlogiston
To save the situation, we need to normalize the lava flow. This cave was also blocked by magma, but we can't just break the wall, otherwise the hot liquid will flood us. We need to find another way: we go deeper into the cave, but a little before reaching the magma wall, we turn right, where we see a side passage. We head there, transform into a yumkazvar and jump until we run into the same magma wall, but on the other side.
Break a large mass of solidified magma
Now it can be blown up. We do the same operation, take a flame grenade and shoot it at the wall. A cutscene begins. The cave is filled with phlogiston, and the roots are filled with life. But the flow is too strong, we need to get out as quickly as possible.
Quickly! Run away!
Having possessed the Yumkazvr, we jump along the "seals of folded grass" until we reach the exit to the initial cave. A delighted Tizoc notices that the Mountain King's flame grenades are finally ripe.
We approach them closer, Tizoc thanks us and says that he will not be angry with Poke. After this, the dialogue With You with the quest ends, Paimon reminds us of the girl waiting for us, but this is not a new task.
